4? How are you burning the image? Are you using nLite? Did you burn the iso IMAGE to the cd or did you burn it as an iso? They are 2 different things. But if you used only nLite to burn your disk then this shouldn't be an issue...

Installing generic XP on OEM license
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Galileo Figaro's topic in Windows XP
OEM is OEM Retail is Retail and Volume license is Corp ed. You can however call HP and for a small fee they usually send you replacement media for the PC. Like 10-25 bucks. The key will work with nearly ANY OEM media BUT it will not activate!!! See thats a generic Install key... Your best bet is Ebay, Amazon or HP themselves... -

Kelsenellenelvian posted a topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
OK my mobo blew.... Just the mobo I have tested ALL of the other components and they are all fine. But I am still living on disability and cannot afford the 60-70 dollar chunk for a new one... I found this one here --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128076 It may be a cheap one BUT it is a GigaByte and lets me have 4 gigs ram later on... I have a e2140 and 2 1gig sticks of ddr2-667 so thats pretty much my requirments... PLEASE help even if it is a small amount. It does build up!!! Links in the sig if you can donate... -
WPI, vLite, and a few other questions
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Sgt. D. Pilla's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
OK I see the issue but I am not sure how to correct it... Basically you need to reset the %Path% before calling WPI's part of the command file. Let me think who around here is the best at this sh*t? He has an owl for an avatar and hangs around the unnatended section ALL the time... YZOWL!!! Ask him he is a genius at cmd files. Becuase yours terribly needs rebuilt. -
Ok lets get this right here: I am not a dude I have no clue how they are advertising their website like that. PLEASE FIX YOUR CAPS BUTTON! It seems to be stuck and typing all in capitols is rude. The first pick you posted is comprised of 2 things = The main applications icon and your desired company or username thats designated during the installation..

You paid $5,000 dollars for it and can't get the license part to show???

[SOLVED] My mistake with an add-on--> Always test your discs
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Happy-Dude's topic in nLite
Personally I would just manually get all of the files you need from the manuafacturers websites. Or use Siginets drivergrabber, it is much simpler and DOES grab the .infs and the drivers needed files.... -
[SOLVED] My mistake with an add-on--> Always test your discs
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Happy-Dude's topic in nLite
OK just remember my packs are no longer compatable with the RVMi now... I am finishing up updates to: Runtines UberPack and the special request you had Doing a VM test now will be out soon. -

More than 30GB space missing in WinXP
Kelsenellenelvian replied to CypherHackz's topic in Windows XP
Man then I have no clue. Maybe your partition table is wrong. -
More than 30GB space missing in WinXP
Kelsenellenelvian replied to CypherHackz's topic in Windows XP
Well i'll be damned... OK you say you used that one program right? Looks like you'll hafta do some browsing to find which folder cantains all of the extra space. Also when doing that browsing make sure your hidden files AND system hidden files show. How big is your windows folder? Is your hidden recycler folder filled with crap from past installs? I have seen that happen. -
More than 30GB space missing in WinXP
Kelsenellenelvian replied to CypherHackz's topic in Windows XP
OK here goes: Paging file = 1.5x your ram Hibernation file can end up being almost any size (Usually HUGE though) Sytem file recovery size = 12% of partition (9ish gigs) Recycle bin = 10% of parttion (7gigs) So there is some of your "Missing" space. Now right click on recylcle bin and move that down to say 5% Right click on My Computer and then properties then choose system restore tab first disable it then reboot to flush the old files then re-enable it and set it to like 5% also Then go to http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds and download the "slim" version and install it (Don't worry it's TINY) now run it and have it clean all of the old junk and temp files... Also have it do a reg scan just for the health of it.... Now you should have at least 15-20gigs free "SHOULD" being the operative word there -

netfxAIO.exe <-- Here is your issue!!! Even on my PC (OC'ed e2140 to 2243mHz w\2gigs ram this takes @ 10 minutes to install) Also XPize darkside is taking like 5 minutes by itself... Integrate it as an hotfix then run again later at your leisure for the file refresher and the extras. -

install xp on a USB Hard Drive
Kelsenellenelvian replied to premier4ever's topic in Install Windows from USB
No it isn't possile. I am very sorry to say. See XP looks for and attaches itself to your hardware... SO then when you switch pc's it refuses to work due to all of the differetn hardware. It was possible back in the days of 98 but no it can't be done. (I believe it is part of MS'es anti-piracy works) -
The full one which is actually now 231 megs contans ALL but 1.0, 1,1 and the service packs for those 2. So you get: 3.5 sp1 3.5 2.1 2.0 and a Sh*tload of other fixes for all of those.... yes they do contain ALL of the 86x (32bit) and 64x files. But there is hope if you think that is too much! Go to here --> http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5657 this Includes .net 1.1 sp1, 2 sp2, 3 sp2, and 3.5 sp1 all patches applied. Weighs in at only @50 megs and is for 32bit only. Simply extract the installer from the addon. It will be in the svcpack folder. Link to the full 231 meg 3.5sp1 package if you want it --> http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0.../dotnetfx35.exe
