  1. I think I know who is the culprit behind this. The notebook that im using is IBM lenovo and it do backups regularly and use space on the hard disk. In that folder there are several files that have size about 11GB. Thanks to techywiz for the software. It helps me to find the hidden and restricted backup folder. I searched in google how to remove it and now deleting the backup files. Not sure how long it will take. Hopefully I will regain back my free space. Thanks you all for the help. Especially to techywiz for the software. Will update you guys after all the backup files have been deleted.
  2. Already done that but still it shows me 5GB space left. Will google the app. Thanks for your reply. This laptop is use in my office. It is company laptop. No crashing just sometimes it hang and then it back to normal. The above is the screenshot of my C drive partition. Btw the Recover partition was installed by default. I do not know where it comes. Maybe it comes from factory. Thank you.
  3. Below is the screenshot of my computer mangement. Nope. I am the only one who have full control of the laptop.
  4. I attached the printscreen from JDiskReport. Total space that been used is only 24GB.
  5. Already done that but it doesn't solve the problem.
  6. Hi, I have a partition with size of 70GB. The problem is the free space that available is only 5GB. I have viewed my hard disk using JDiskReport (http://www.jgoodies.com/freeware/jdiskreport/) and the biggest folder in the partition is only 20GB something. Plus with other folders which are about 20-30MB, I think I should have about 40GB free space in that partition. So my question is, how can I troubleshoot what are the causes of the missing space? And also is there anyway to fix it? Thank you.
