  1. If you really wanted to do this you could get a PE based boot disc and then boot up PE, then run a simple set of commands. This even allows for many 32bit OS tools to be utilized. hth
  2. I would like to see integration into the google toolbar.
  3. More than likely some ISP along the way noted the virus and removed it.
  4. My $.02; One Gigabyte from Google is good for me, but in the end I have 100mb from Yahoo, 1 Gigabyte from Gmail, and 2GB at Aventure. The thing is I hardly get any email in the Aventure account, I am hoping that they offer you some other kind of access with your account besides web based email. But in the end Gmail is my new favorite email, very cut and dry, and to the point. Unlike Yahoo! mail or Hotmail, which fills half the screen with ads. So in the end I think Gmail will conquer the web based email market as they do with the WWW Search Engine.
  5. ASMS is almost always due to a bad burn, so reburn at like 4x and see what happens. hth
  6. @Kenny-- Looks good. Are you using Geoshell?
  7. Boot Screen here... So you are one of the few people using Longhorn as the source with PE Builder? If so, how is it working? I am using WinPE not Bart's, Works like a charm I am using 4029 now. I have posted instructions elsewhere as to how to obtain PE from Longhorn 4051->4074. Will write more when I switch to using 4053 as a source. thanks for the boot screen.
  8. Troglodyte -- would mind posting where you got your ntoskrnl in the screen shot? I really like that one. I am tired of looking at the Longhorn boot screen.
  9. If so was there any information on the new OPK for SP2. And any other information relating to the deployment process. Or just anything you found intersting and would like to share?
  10. Nice Desktop Sparticus
  11. More than likely we will find out more after the webcast on Tuesday, and as I stated before my money is on Tuesday for the RC2 to come out.
  12. There is alot of examples here on how to make some headway using hta's/batchfiles and the like.
  13. We aren't lucky enough to have this CD yet, most of us atleast. We have to wait....
  14. I knew i had it somehwere... Microsoft Server Appliance Kit 3.0
  15. It was in one of the webcasts, if I remember correctly.
  16. Nice man I will definately use them!
  17. Well what size would you like them? Since there is no suggested size in the rules.. I try to keep mine at 800x600 or lower.
  18. You mean my HTA file?
  19. Search yahoo shopping.
  20. Superbikkel: What version did you you use Narts or Microsoft. If you used MS you certainly spent a ton of time messing with plugins. That is a great layout also did you write the code for it? Nice work.
  21. Might want to try this page: http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroup...s.oem.windowsxp
  22. I am just curious to see the modifications people have made to it. I posted this here so people would not get confused and post regular desktop screen shots here. Here is mine:
  23. Do I need to unhide the partion first with partition magic? I tried the boot.ini thing and it didn't work. Really wishing HP would just ship recovery cds with their pcs. I've got 2 of them here, both needed to be reloaded and neither have recovery cds. Call them up and complain a few times, I did and they sent me a full 5 or 6 cd recovery set and a Microsoft Windows XP Home OEM CD also.
  24. Sounds like the network is not fully loading before you are trying to map it add the "wait" switch to it. i.e. START /WAIT "Mapping Network Drives" mapdrives.bat
  25. How are you booting WinPE via LAN, PE CD, or PE on the HD? I am kind of confused. If I get what you are saying you are booting off the lan copying the Pe files to the HD and then trying to run diskpart?
