  1. Ok, thanks guys. Just wondering what was going on. the_guy
  2. Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a problem. There are 2 desktop computers in my house, and a laptop. I have them all set up to remember my logon and password here at MSFN. Now, let's call the 2 desktops 'A' and 'B', and the laptop 'C'. Here is the problem: If I'm logged on to A and then go to B a few hours later, I'm shown as a guest and have to log in on B. Now, if I go back to A and go onto the forums, I have to log back in again, even though I have it set so I should remain logged on. Is anyone else experiencing the problem? Btw, I use firefox on the desktops and IE on the laptop. the_guy
  3. Yes, I use word. Thanks Tomcat! the_guy
  4. I don't use the bullet sign and I can't use quick edit. It happens in my hotfix threads in the HFSLIP subforum. the_guy
  5. I had the problem the other day, and I just thought it was my computer (not the fastest, hopefully will still run Vista). I was using Firefox at the time. the_guy
  6. Hey all, I just uploaded my unofficial update. It works on 98/ME, as well as NT4. It doesn't use a catalog file for ME as there are new files over 916281, so I've included nircmd to disable SR/SFP. the link is here the_guy
  7. 902400 is only replaced by 913580 on Windows 2000. On XP, it is replaced by 912817, which is in your list of files you did not include. the_guy
  8. @erpdude8: I plan on having both the gdr and qfe versions. It also will not have the 923762 update included, as I have already made the update. I will send it to MDGx tonight so it can be posted ASAP. Maybe in October, though? the_guy
  9. About 918899: There is a(nother) problem in urlmon.dll. Microsoft has provided a fix, in KB Article 923762. It includes newer urlmon.dll 6.0.2800.1567. Maybe someone could get it from Microsoft? the_guy
  10. Hey guys: I just requested KB830460, which I will be including in the next version. It updates msvcirt.dll to version 6.1.9845.0. Other than that, the next version of the SP is ready. the_guy
  11. @Super-Magician: It looks like you forgot to paste your list into the forum view. the_guy
  12. Ok. Looks good. Would you mind if I modified it a bit and posted it with my lists (2000 and xp for now)? the_guy
  13. Looks good. You might want to remove 905915 as it's replaced by 918899. the_guy
  14. The top line is a link to the MS security bullletin. the_guy
  15. I have a suggestion for the list. In the Windows 2000 section, could you modify it so it is for MDAC 2.8 SP1, instead of any MDAC version. Modifications to the lkist would be removing 832483 and changing 911562 so it just has the download for 2.8 sp1. the_guy
  16. Nope. Just the ones that you had. MS06-021 for all OS's, MS05-015 for XP, and MS05-055 for 2000 are replaced. the_guy
  17. I don't plan on releasing it until I hear confirmation about the new hlink.dll and hhctrl.ocx files. the_guy
  18. That sounds like a good idea. I plan on making an unofficial update for this if it works. the_guy
  19. The only difference between MS06-015 and MS06-045 is that MS06-015 includes verclsid.exe. That's it. Now, if someone make an unofficial MS06-045 patch, they should also try to make verclsid.exe work on 98/ME. the_guy
  20. @MDGx: If you do make an update for 98/ME/NT4 for 922616, there are some required registry ventries to include as well. If you want me to, I can make the updates for you, provided they do work without problem. Also, I have no idea what's wrong with the 910906 update. @all: Has anyone seen an issue with either file (hlink.dll or hhctrl.ocx?). Also, I have made an unofficial 918899 update for 98/ME. All I did was copy the files over and copy the registry entries from 1 INF to the other (2000 to 98/me). It looks like it should work. Bonus: It will also work on NT4! the_guy
  21. List updated with August Patches. the_guy
  22. Updated with August Patches. the_guy
  23. List updated with August patches. the_guy
  24. Sorry. That is what I'm thinking of. the_guy
  25. Those wmp files have been added. That sucks that 899282 is no longer available. the_guy
