    Oops, meant 921883. the_guy
  2. Thanks Petr, I just updated the unofficial 918899 patch, and will send it off ASAP. I also updated my updater. I will hopefully post an early test version in the next few days. the_guy

    New updates

New security updates today: 919007: XP 920685: 2000/XP/2003 High Priority updates on MU/WU: 922582: 2000 (Requires UR1, maybe make a detection for fltmgr.sys?)/XP/2003 920872: XP Newly revised updates: 918899 (IE5.01SP4/IE6SP1/2003) 921883 (2003) I'll be updating my lists in a day or 2. Just a heads up for anyone making a new source. the_guy EDIT: 920685 replaces 871250 on XP
  4. @Magic: The updates is for Flash Player 6. the_guy
  5. Update: Updates I am going to add: 896358/922616 906216/2003SP1 (dhtmled.ocx/triedit.dll) 908519 920670 Things I'm not going to add: Flash!!! (3rd party, don't know why it's in IE) Media Player 6.4 files (might make seperate installer) fonts/cryptui/oainst/usp10.dll/atl.dll (get MDGx's installers) Things I'm considering: 823559/msvcrt.dll (not really IE, but...) mspatcha.dll (not copied while hotfixes are installing) The Media Player 6.4 files aren't IE-related. They are from DX9c (updated files). I honestly don't know how many compatibility issues would crop up if someone didn't have DX9 installed. Also, I want this to be as lightweight as possible. I might change my mind on oainst/usp10.dll/atl.dll, and maybe even fonts, but I am NOT going to inlcude the crypt files. 1 reason: I want this to install on ME as well as 98/NT4. the_guy
  6. I personally have no idea why that's there. This SP is based off Gape's SP for 98SE, and it was in his SED file as well. the_guy
  7. @Max_04: You do not modify slayout2.inf. When you use makecab, it should create the slayout files for you. In the coming days, I will be posting the bat file I use to make the cab files, and the sed file to make the SP. This should make it easier for translators. the_guy
  8. @erpdude8: something weird happened when I sent the fixes, and they did not send. I did not resend them yet as my main computer has had some problems (power supply not working). I will resend them tonight or tomorrow morning. It will also include some new ones. the_guy
  9. The way I'm going to do it is as follows: Have browseui.dll get copied to system32. I'm not going to touch the 5.5 SP2 patch. However, if you have browseui.dll from IE5.5SP2 in system32, there WILL be problems. I can avoid that, by using a batch file. Other than that, I have no idea. Can anyone post hotfixes for IE6 SP1 that are missing from my list. Also, I plan to post in the next few days a list of files in IE6 SP1 with files versioned 5.50.4807.2300. the_guy
  10. @LLXX: I don't think I'll be using those versions of files, but I will definately move the browseui.dll copying to a .bat file to not have a 6.0 SP1 file with a 5.5 SP2 file. I honestly never thought of that. the_guy
  11. The only thing I can think of is that Windows 2000 uses update.exe. The files should be the exact same. However, I'm leary about using files from XP SP1 updates. If anyone has an update that I didn't list in my .txt file, please post it. the_guy
  12. Hey guys, Another unofficial project by me. What is does is that it updates IE6 SP1 with the latest available files. So far, the count is 46 files updated, but I may have missed some. I have attached a list of the files updated, with their latest known versions. If anyone else has a file name to add, please let me know. If you have a suggestion, let me know. It is currently still in development. This topic was just made to let you know about the project. the_guy ie6upd.txt
  13. @nitro: About the Microsoft hotfixes, look below (neither one work). Type 1: http://download.microsoft.com/download/6/1...725-x86-ENU.EXE Type 2: http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/2...433-x86-ENU.exe the_guy
  14. @erpdude8: I don't see a problem with it. It will be a seperate option though. the_guy
  15. @erpdude8: see my post in the new updates topic. MS made a screw up in the writing of the versions of urlmon.dll. the_guy
  16. I just tried request 279177 for IE 5.5 SP2 and was told that I couldn't as IE 5.5 SP2 was out of support. Could you please try requesting that hotfix as well? the_guy
  17. @erpdude8: Both the gdr and qfe versions of 918899v2 include the fix. Original fix: GDR: 6.0.2800.1565 QFE: 6.0.2800.1566 923762/Revised fix: GDR: 6.0.2800.1567 QFE: 6.0.2800.1568 MS made a typo in the security bulletin. the_guy
  18. The new IE6 update is for XP SP1, not SP2. That's your problem. the_guy
  19. Ok. Do you know which one? List is now updated. the_guy
  20. I did. That's what I was getting at. List will be updated soon. the_guy
  21. heisking 912817 is not a high priority update on WU/MU, so that's why it's being removed. the_guy
  22. In the next day or 2 I plan on updating the list. It will remove 912817 and re-add MS05-051. 894391 is replaced by 902400 (have NO idea why it still shows up on WU). 887472 and 913433 will be added in the next update (somehow missed them). the_guy
  23. Ok. I think I might try requesting a hotfix for IE 5.5 SP2, 279177. the_guy
  24. @Petr: did you get that link recently or not? If so, how much after the EOL date can you request fixes for software? the_guy
  25. 909363 is replaced by 919587, and I will send MDGx an unofficial patch for that in the next few days. What problem are you having with 920670 erpdude? the_guy
