  2. If it helps anyone, I have part number 000-45234, and I'm positive that it's US English, and OSR2 OEM. the_guy
  3. List updated with 925486. the_guy

    New updates

1: MS06-055 will work on any version of Windows/IE supported by HFSLIP. Please use the correct version. There are seperated versions for 2000 and XP SP1 for a reason. If you use 925486 (Security Advisory 925568), please use the IE6 SP1 patch for 2000 sp4 if slipstreaming ie6 sp1, and the patch for ie 5.01sp4 if you're not. I'm not sure about if you're using the FDV fileset. if you're slipstreaming IE6SP1 and using 925486, please remove the obsolete hotfix 833989. 2:It does replace 925308. Also, the Roots Certificate Update was re-released today! It is the same download link as before, but version 9 now. the_guy

    New updates

New update released today! MS06-055. This is in response to Security Advisory 925568. Also, MS06-049 was re-released today. the_guy
  8. @Petr: I'm looking at it right now. It will be repackaged ASAP. the_guy EDIT: Microsoft also made an update to the Roots Update. Link is the same.
  9. @MDGx: I hope you managed to salvage a copy of KB893627 for 98/ME. You have the same file listed for 98/ME and 2000/XP. The file that both refer to is the file for 2000/XP. Also, thanks for posting the fixes. I'll send a couple more to you in the coming days. the_guy
  10. There are multilingual versions, but you need to install it on a running system and search WindowsUpdate.log (or it's norwegian file name) for 905474. the_guy

    New updates

    Thanks Tomcat! the_guy
  12. Thanks. I'll probably make an unofficial patch for it soon. Now, I just need someone to confirm/deny that 872901 and 895181 work properly. the_guy
  13. Thanks eidenk, Would anyone else be able to test the files? I was mainly just checking about whether windows would be able to boot with the directx files. I think 895181 will work with MP9 as it does on 2000. the_guy
  14. Gotta ask, was wmp9 slipstreaming in Win2k a complete failure? If so, please tell me so I can modify the WMP list accordingly. the_guy
  15. @Super-Magician: msxml.msi is for msxml 4, so that is not unnecessary. the_guy EDIT:msxmlcab.exe is english only I believe. Also, you should remove msxml4msms.exe.
  16. If it helps, you only need msxml6.msi and MAYBE msxml6_SDK.msi, but not msxml6_ia64.msi and msxml6_x64.msi. The following updates are in English: 896344, 905414, and 905474. the_guy
  17. Hey guys, A couple quick questions for you. 1. Does mp4sdmod.dll from KB895181 work on 98SE/ME with WMP9? 2. Do qdv.dll from KB872901 and qdvd.dll from KB836880 work on 98/SE/ME with DX9 installed? the_guy
  18. I would. the_guy
  19. There are 2 versions of 902344. 1 for normal XP (use with wmfdist95.exe from 891122) and 1 for XP MCE (use with wmfdist95.exe from 900325). the_guy

Quick question: Will HFSLIP slipstream files in 913800/902344 (Media Center version)/910393/923198 (Media Center version) on XP non-MCE? the_guy
  21. Cosmetic issue. If HFSLIP slipstreams WMP9 now, shouldn't the title on 2000 read TommyP's HFSLIP W2K/IE6SP1/WMP9/DX9/WUA20/Hotfix Slipstreamer? the_guy
  22. 23. @Petr: Resource Hacker doesn't work the best. To me it's mainly gibberish. Could you send me the program you wrote? the_guy
  24. Ok. Quick question: Would I be able to post a WMP hotfixes list? I'm just asking to see if HFSLIP would support these. the_guy
  25. Petr, I will use all of those changes to the SED file except 1. I will not be using the /d switch as my package also allows installation on NT4. Also, what program do you use to find out all of this information? the_guy
