REG ADD %KEY%\098 /VE /D "XPize 4.0 MCE" /f REG ADD %KEY%\098 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\INSTALL\XPize.exe /S" /f just add any other switches you would like to that there & change the path & filename accordingly (reason for key 098 is so that XPize is installed 2nd last (so that any installs i do will be updated and also so that i can run my tweaks & clean cmd afterwards)

What that means is you cant install 3rd party raid/sata controllers with less than 256mb ram... if you use IDE HDD's on your onboard IDE Channels (the ones on the motherboard) then you can continue installation, but id HIGHLY reccomend the ram upgrade regardless as your system will run much smoother id only suggest trying out windows vista on 512mb ram at least (It really is a ram hogger)

No, I built my machine, and bought the XP Disk at CompUSA, so I guess that makes mine "Retail". So it seems the "Service Pack" question is then irrelevent. Thanks for the help. This weekend I will see if I can get a Retail XP Home Disk and make a copy. If I understand this correctly, I should be able to just use my own Product Key when it comes time to install the O/S. Thanks again, Johnny <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah thats right... even though its frowned upon, even if you downloaded a copy of Windows XP Home retail from p2p you could use it legally, as you own your key, its not the cd/media you pay for its the licence to use it, so anyone's XP Home retail cd can be used on your machine as long as its YOUR cd-key. Hope this clears things up for ya

install the .net framework 1.1 package or 2.0 beta
-
same error here <{POST_SNAPBACK}> got this here as well hope you fix it soon kalavera
-
last week.. it's a leaked "beta".... the release is a QFE patch... the 2nd of its kind so you must have MSN Messenger 7.5.0299 installed to update it its mainly bug fixes however nothing new has been noticed
-
my mirror updated xpero, check ya pm
-
Thank XPero, i'll upload them both as soon as downloaded and PM you with the links to them for the homepage

Hi guys, i know start of topic said if you get any errors its your own fault lol but was wondering if anyone can tell me how to stop this error during install Mapi Repair Tool GetLastError = 126 Install continues after i press ok to this but it's annoying for an "unattended" install when i have to click ok lol if anyone has any ideas id appreciate it (using nLite 1.0b6 btw) Edit: also noticed that after 2 reboots and after installing a windows update the themes are broken now... i re-enabled them, the theme service is running but when i try and use any theme (except windows classic lol) it says it cant open it due to theme service not running this has all been done in Virtual PC 2004 so i duno if it down to being ran in a virtual machine but i doubt it
-
looking forward to it xpero as soon as you do complete it just give me a pm and i'll mirror it for you
-

MS VIRTUAL PC 2004 > SLOOOOW?
Ðrзω™ replied to CaptainCrash's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
most of it is Fridge-Raider's work... i'm just slowly but surely going through it and editing it to my needs... but yeah my install works fine and functions properly there is just some things i need on it that fridge doesnt (so i think the size will be going up from about 175) you should check out clint's install he made on his 8cm xp cd project lol its in the same topic as fridge raider's Links: Fridge-Radier's Post and his Last Settings.ini, Tweaks & Cleanup script http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=52357 Clint's Screenshot of his 8cm project http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=52357&st=60# -
i took fridge's last session.ini and inported 2 nlite... did a few changes (basically enabled a few things i need) and got my iso down to to 175mb approx... but once i add my $OEM$ stuff it goes to 400mb (lol my $OEM$ folder is larger than my I386 folder )
-
yeah use the $OEM$ folder structure then use $Docs\Your username\My Documents\My Pictures (if anyone knows a more optimal way please correct me )
-
nlite has an option in it to add Expand option to right click in the tweaks section > tweaks tab > explorer
