  1. Are you sure you aren't using regtweaks along with the DLL? It works fine for me.
  2. If your key is a legitimate key from your university, you should have no problems with SP2 or WGA. I know I haven't with mine
  3. OK, there are 4 USP5 torrents up now. Until war59312 makes the .torrent files directly available for download, they can be accessed via http://tracker.ryanvm.net/ NOTE: There aren't any seeders at the moment, so if you've already got the completed files, feel free to lend a hand in that department
  4. What's funny to me is that somebody actually thought it was a real MS site
  5. I can host a torrent of it on my tracker if you guys want.
  6. ...I'm sure you can figure it out even if IPB is being dumb...
  7. Let me make this simple for you.ohci1394.dll included in my pack: build 2738 ohci1394.dll included in KB885222: build 2549
  8. A+++++++++++++++++ THREAD. WOULD READ AGAIN!!!!!!111one
  9. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=Se...mp;highlite=ie7
  10. Two that come to mind off the top of my head are the most recent cumulative update and the VML exploit one (updates vgx.dll). There's probably 1 or 2 more, though.
  11. It says right in the changelog on my site that 2.1.x versions can't be integrated over 2.0.x versions.
  12. The point of the changelog was that version 2.1.0 clearly says that it cannot be integrated over previous versions. Now when did that version come out? That should answer your June question. I trim the list of fixes that are automatically removed from time to time. I can't speak for drivers, sorry.
  13. You know, learning how to research things would be a useful skill . If you read the KB article, you'll see what file is updated. Now extract my pack. Notice that same file? Now look at the version numbers. Which is newer?mmmkay?
  14. Possibly, though my pack is somewhat smart enough to remove some superseded updates present on a CD (though I periodically trim the list). You're best off starting over fresh. Hint: Read the changelog on my site
  15. I had people DOSing me in the past (to the tune of over 200GB/day). Use your daily stats log to track down the IP and use either .htaccess to block it or have DH firewall it (I actually use both). YGPM
  16. Definitely integrate IE7 after the update packs, unless you want a bunch of IE6 files from the Update Pack overwriting IE7 files...
  17. With KB924496 installed, try to unregister then re-register shdocvw.dll
  18. You know, there's a few threads here on this topic already
  19. It seems to me that anybody with a decent understanding of how hotfixes and such work could pick up this project where gurgel left off. If it weren't for the fact that I have no extra time for a new project ATM, I'd volunteer. So, who wants to step up to the plate? Talk is cheap - actions speak louder than words.
  20. MS always posts them to the Download Center before they're officially announced.
  21. The cheap and dirty way is to disable the USB ports via Device Manager and then modify the group policy (via gpedit.msc) so that the users (or user groups) you specify don't have access to Device Manager to change it back.
  22. Don't remove the CAT files. And try searching more in the future, it's been answered many times before
  23. Thanks... although I tried searching the forums again... and I still can't find it lol http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=1Top thread.
