  2. Anyone know about this? Thanks in advance
  3. Is there any solution for this problem? Is it something I did wrong? Please, it's weird that no one knows a solution to this.

    slow pc

How many rpm is your harddrive that windows is running off of? Anything less than 7200 can be a big performance hit no matter what you do software-wise. Most computers that you purchase from dell and alike places with the base setup sadly come with 5400rpm hard drive.

  6. Radmin, of course. http://www.radmin.com/download Smoother video than vnc. VNC hates animation. The difference is even noticeable with mouse movement with vnc vs radmin.
  7. Thanks alot for your findings. I'm looking into 4nt Works great! I haven't researched to find the extra features it provides, but the ctrl+v is very nice to have. Consistency like that should exists in all apps
  8. Not a bad app. I am giving it a shot.
  9. I'm really suprised no one here at msfn knows a solution to this. I wish someone who finds out will explain it for everyone!

  11. Thanks for the notes. I was looking for this, either a positive or negative 100% answer. I knew of quickedit is reason for quoting my post; I am not sure if ringfinger understood what I meant. Thanks everyone for your helps
  12. Ok, thanks for the reply. I read something about ntusers.dat. I think that might be the way to do the quicklaunch and the above mentioned along with other tedious tweaks. Does anyone know an easy way to do this? All of the readings I've found on ntusers.dat sounded confusing to me.
  13. Is there a replacement or a way to paste in cmd by ctrl+v rather than right click (quickedit feature)? Thanks in advance...

  15. I found eConsole, but if I do a show desktop or winkey+D then the window is minimized (even though the glue to desktop is enabled). This is an idea to what I'm kind of looking for though; I haven't figured out if custom commands can be written for this or not. eConsole - http://www.corion.net/econsole/index.html#downloads
  16. Is there a way to separate the office package into like an install file for word; an install file for excel; and so forth? Maybe should be done with multiple mst files? I don't know; need experienced user's views. Thanks

  20. I used DAP for many years. Flashget was the transition I made after it. I read it was 300% faster; that is probably of course a little exaggeration for advertisement, but I have noticed it is a little more efficient.I remember GetRight having a feature to download say image01-image99.jpg very easily or any sequential filenames; I always wanted this in flashget.
  21. I've used openoffice math formula write part too. I used it for calculus, discrete, and physics. It's a nice, quick way to write equations.
  22. Anyone use bittornado? It's a really simple one.
  23. What's difference from 2.81, 2.91, and 2.95? I used 2.79 for a longgg time until friend told me about internet radio library built into 2.91. I've been using 2.91 for a long time now since that. Any advantage of 2.95 / 2.81 over 2.91? I've never used those 2 versions to see if they have internet radio library browser. I know there is a website to show these internet radio stations, but it's nice to have that built in.
  24. Will this keep a user from getting spyware via activex or whatever?
