  1. I was wondering is there a way to increase the number of max connections on a winxp pro share? I was told win server 2003 doesnt have this restriction. Even if it is set on max unlimited, I believe that is equivalent to setting it equal to 10. Title edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title. Please follow XP Forum Rules from now on. --Sonic

  6. Mickey and Minnie Mouse were at court for divorce proceedings. The judge told Mickey, "Look here Mickey Mouse, I can't grant you a divorce from Minnie!" Mickey Mouse was stunned and asked, "Why not??!!" The Judge said, "I've reviewed all the information you gave to the court, but I can't find any evidence at all to support the grounds that she is crazy!" Mickey Mouse says, "Your Honor! I didn't say she was CRAZY, I said she was f***ing Goofy!"

    Old age

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, "Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly. The other man said, "What is the name of the restaurant?" The first man thought and thought and finally said, "What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love? You know... the one that's red and has thorns." "Do you mean a rose?" "Yes, that's the one," replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, "Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?
  10. A Catholic, a Baptist, and a Mormon are bragging about the size of their families. "I have four boys and my wife is expecting another. One more son and I'll have a basketball team!" said the Catholic. "That's nothing!'' said the Baptist. ''I have ten boys now, and my wife is pregnant with another child. One more son and I'll have a football team!" "You both should be ashamed of yourselves!'' said the Mormon. ''I have seventeen wives. One more and I'll have a golf course!"
  11. The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, "Hello". "Mrs. Ward, please." "Speaking." "Mrs. Ward, this is Doctor Jones at the Medical Testing Laboratory. When your doctor sent your husband's specimen to the lab for testing yesterday, a specimen from another Mr. Ward arrived as well, and we are now uncertain which one is your husband's. Frankly the results are either bad or terrible." "What do you mean?" Mrs. Ward asks nervously. "Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for AIDS. We can't tell which is your husband's." "That's dreadful! Can't you do the test again?" questioned Mrs. Ward. "Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time." "Well, what am I supposed to do now?" "The people at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him."
  12. This is a truly heart-warming story about the bond formed between a little girl and some construction workers. This makes you want to believe in the goodness of people and that there is hope for the human race. A young family moved into a house next door to a vacant lot. One day a construction crew turned up to start building a house on the empty lot. The young family`s 5 yr old daughter naturally took an interest in all the activity going on next door and started talking with the workers. She hung around and eventually the construction crew, all of them, gems-in-the-rough, more or less.......adopted her as a kind of project mascot. They chatted with her, let her sit with them while they had coffee and lunch breaks, and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important. At the end of the first week, they presented her with a pay envelope containing a dollar. The little girl took this home to her mother who said all the appropriate words of admiration and suggested that they take the dollar she had received to the bank the next day to start a savings account. When they got to the bank, the teller was equally impressed with the story and asked the little girl how she had come by her very own pay paycheck at such a young age. The little girl proudly replied, "I worked all last week with a construction crew building a house". MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS", said the teller, "And will you be working on the house again this week, too?" The little girl replied........" I will if those useless c*nts at the hardware store ever deliver the f*cking plaster".

  16. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/anthem.html She should have practiced first. Edit: This is not implying anything about Canadians. I'll go ahead and assume and cover the bases of all jokes that involve an American by saying that they do not imply anything about All Americans. It would not be good if all our american kids lit firecrackers from their butt, etc.

  22. Wow, I never knew that! I feel silly for not seeing 'view' there all this time. Thanks a lot Edit: What about when you open a link in new tab; is there a way to make it go to background rather than still focus? I did not see a view option for that. I hope it is easy like the previously mentioned Thanks in advance
  23. I like the transfer window tab showing in the tab bar when a transfer begins, but I do not like it stealing focus/becoming active tab when it shows automatically like this. Anyone know how to disable it becoming active/stealing focus? Thanks in advance

  25. if you are not familiar with using cmd prompt, then make a tmp.cmd as well (do not include it in your .7z of course). Once you have put your files in the .7z, put something like cd %l copy /b 7zS.sfx + config.txt + somename.7z somename.exein the tmp.cmd and run it to build the somename.exe
