  1. As a general rule, with any new release of nLite I would suggest never using a last session file from a previous version of nLite
  2. Does it really make a difference which server it is on? The channel is new, give it a chance. Maybe people just aren't interested in an IRC channel when they have these forums.
  3. RyanVm's Update pack does not show the Hotfixes for removal - they are integrated into the source and not uninstallable.
  4. Actually I changed my mind Z.. this release is... FANTASTIC! I'd like to have your children Cheers on a terrific release mate, I am now a converted Winamp user (previously Quintessential Player)
  5. try clearing your chache and temp internet files
  6. wow you people are persistant with your requests! Here's a general rule to follow with software updates : "it'll be done when it's done" Merry Christmas
  7. Definately details about how to customize it further. I guess the most important thing is perhaps a step by step tutorial on what to do and when to do it in terms of the steps of your project. Best of luck, if you need a hand, I'll be available after the New Year (am going away for the Christmas break!) Merry Christmas
  8. Excellent new release nuhi, looking forward to testing this!
  9. Have a look in the Addons sub forum within the nLite forum - there's plenty of sticky threads in there with useful information on how to create Addons (silent app installs) for nLite.
  10. rofl nuhi have you got the christmas grouchies?!
  11. each has their own advantages/uses, therefore it is pointless to compare them
  12. easy big fella .. I'm not blaming nLite for anything, just very strange that this pixelation only occurs when I integrate the latest officila nVidia drivers with nLite and not when I install them manually. Thank you Speeddy, I suspected the issue was with the way nVidia constructed their inf files.
  13. try http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=147 or RyanVM's Update pack in my sig
  14. Hi all Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with an nLitend XP and XAMPP? (http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/) Basically XAMPP is an Apache Distribution that includes the Apache web server, MySQL, PHP, Perl, a FTP server and phpMyAdmin. I'm wondering if there's any specific components I'd need to keep in order to utilise this distro?
  15. thanks guys it seems to be fine at present, I think it is an issue with nLite intergrating the drivers as each time Ive intergrated the latest nVidia drivers I see this issue.. however if I manually install the drivers I do not see this pixelation. Well, I havn't seen it for a few days now anyway. And i do hope it isn't an intermittent problem! I shall check out Rivatuner thanks gkar cheers
  16. Thanks for the advice guys, but this card gets plenty of air, I have 2 120mm fans (front and rear) of my case, as well as 90mm fan in the side door... and there isn't much in the way of cable mess thanks to my modular PSU with sleeved cabling. nuhi, only official drivers were integrated, as downloaded from nvidia's official website. I shall try a fresh nLitend XP install and see if I suffer similar probs.
  17. wow this is concerning... I don't overclock anything.. and the GPU is only 2 months old (Gigabyte 7600GT) @nuhi... do you mean uninstall the graphics drivers (nVidia) and reinstall those? EDIT: I uninstalled the drivers, rebooted and reinstalled... this seemed to correct the problem for the time being. If the vid card is faulty, I assume simply reinstalling drivers wouldn't correct this problem? How to I test to see if my GPU is overheating or faulty? Note it's a fanless GPU, silentpipe cooling.
  18. I'm having these really strange issues with random pixelation throughtout my nLitend XP install - especially when I open and close explorer windows etc they leave these little pixelated marks... Any ideas what could be causing this? looks like it may be related to my integrated drivers..
  19. Best of luck with your studies! Excellent I'd LOVE for that to be removed! WOW this sounds like a great feature... Excellent, but take your time (even tho I'm salivating at the thought of this!) CT!
  20. If nLite is any indication, I wouldn't hold out for a final release... could be a long wait. I never understood why so many people wait for final releases of apps like these, oh well.
  21. how about vLite? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=87502
