I run several home accounts and kids being what they are wanting to install games etc I have all the accounts as administrators - easier on my nerves! Just wondering if I followed the latest train of thoughts would there be any problems. dont want to screw up the family pc without checking first. 'part from that great work again guys.

OK FIRST THINGS FIRST. HAVE YOU TRIED THE MONITOR with another computer that boots up Ok have you tried a different..... opps just realised ita alappy top. OK have you tried hookig up a spare monitor to the lap top and see if that helps. sounds like your drivers are screwwed this happened to me on a desktop and i thought it was the monitor but turned out the video card was goosed even though it all booted up OK. try to get back to basic settings in the bios. do you get any thing whatso ever on boot up - i.e. can you see to get f8 to cmos settings.

jcarle. does your latest session manager iteration download still work as you discussed to me earlier. Iin other words do I just follow the steps as above but using this latest download or are we still a 'work in progress'. this is generating much interest in all my friends who have kids who dont know when enough pc is enough - hence my desire to get this thing working as you originally posted. jcarle I am interested in using you neat program for my kids also. Can you please explain the steps to this please? All you do is run the attached program at startup during the login of each user. I would suggest putting it in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run so that they can't just delete the icon. Thanks
