  2. Check out my new avatar <----
  3. Check that you have saved your batch file as batch.cmd and not batch.txt or batch.cmd.txt. Its a common mistake to make.
  4. Just point the driver section in your winnt.sif to the directory where the skynet.inf is located.
  5. Genious Would you mind posting them for my personal conveniance?
  6. I'm not sure if im posting this in the right section, but it applies to unattended XP Cds, so i figure i'd post it here, and you can move it if im wrong Sure this program may be a little easier to use, and include more features, but atleast we can say we're all the pioneers for XP Automatic Installation. Download
  7. No probs I think your site design extreamly well done. I love the idea of the other skins. Only downside i can see (a very minor one) is that when you pick a new skin, it doesnt return you to the skins page, which is where id like to be incase i dont like the theme i selected Apart from that, fantastic
  8. Does that code work for all hotfixes? The reason i ask, is because some hotfixes use different switches from others.
  9. If you put both of the drivers in, and put them both in the drivers path, then setup will only install the ones that are relavant to your currently installed harware.
  10. Yes, very nice. Cept there's a html problem in your affiliates section. Nothing major, just a typo probably
  11. Well .. he lives in a pinapple, under the sea! Good ol' Sponge Bob
  12. http://www.steves-templates.com/templates.html Got some nice free ones there.
  13. :newbie: I suggest you read theCreating a XP SP1 Slipstream CD guide before you ask anymore questions.
  14. I still say you use a template. Ill scour the web for a few good ones for you
  15. Cheers
  16. Download and install the software. Create a new PC and follow the prompts. Boot up the PC In the CD menu, select "Capture Image" Locate your .iso and Bob's your sisters mothers cousins former roomate.
  17. Nope. Lowercase.
  18. the $OEM$ directory goes alongside the i386 directory, which should be in the root of your CD. For example, on the root of your CD, it should contain 2 folders. (D: for this example is the CDRom) D:\i386 D:\$OEM$ As for your second question. The folders being named $OEM$\$1 indicates that all files within the $1 directory will be copied to %systemroot%\<whatever folders you have in the $1 directory> If your $OEM$\$1 directory contains the folder "Cats" and file "dogs.txt" inside the cats folder "persian.txt", when you install from your CD it will be copied to %systemdrive% (which is usually C:) Visual Layout: \$OEM$\$1\dogs.txt \$OEM$\$1\Cats \$OEM$\$1\Cats\persian.txt When you use your CD to install windows given the example above, your root C:\ would contain the following files c:\dogs.txt c:\Cats c:\Cats\persian.txt Hope this helps
  19. When on the avatar page, it says that .png files are of acceptable format, yet when i try to get MSFN to host my .png avatar, low and behold, it tells me the format is invalid. Whats up with that!
  20. Yep. You've done somethign wrong. Most likley you've created it as batch.cmd.txt What you need to do is open it with notepad and re-save it. (Save As) This time, when you save it, where it says "Save as type: Text Documents (*.txt)" change that to "All Files (*.*)" Once you've doen that, make the filename batch.cmd Problem solved
  21. If you dont know HTML or graphic design that well, i suggest you download a template and work your website around that. Im sure i speak for some other users when i say that sometimes when i visit a website, and it has a less than average design filled with high contrast colours, and no real layout, i just discard it straight away, without even checking out its content. I know its probably my loss, as they might have some very useful content, but eyecandy and easy navigation is the key to keep people interested, and to keep them coming back.
  22. Number one will always be the best in my opinion. Had they stopped at number one, it would definatly be owned by alot more people.
  23. there's heaps. My personal favorite would have to be tweakxp.com
