  3. Not you .. you're okay. Just as long as you dont try to suck me. [insert disgused shudder here] I was actually asking how you kill Jar Jar, the tall rubbery, clumbsy prat.
  4. Greetings and Salutations!
  5. How do i kill it?
  6. Its most probably due to a program still processing during the shutdown process. When its shutting down, if you alt + ctrl + del and close itouch, it should then resume shutting down. (this is a common problem amonst other programs too)
  7. You can turn the messenger scanning thing off. Open NAV --> Options --> Instant Messenger (on the right) --> uncheck messenger Easy This also fixes the problem some users have when they try to close messenger, and winodws tells them that it is in use by another process.
  8. You'll find that Nephilim is already creating a program of this nature. Its called XPES (XP Enhanced Setup). Might be worth while for you to check it out.
  9. I think OemPreinstall=No needs to be set to Yes
  10. Greetings and Salutations! Let me guess .. one of your personalities is Jar Jar Binks?

  12. Putting both HDD's on one cable, and the roms on the other cable is a good idea. Before you need to do anything, you need to set the jumpers on the back of the new hard drive to the slave setting. On the hard drive itself, it should have a little diagram telling you where to put the jumper to make it a slave. On your IDE cable, there should be to places you can place a hard drive. The one at the very end is for a master drive, and the one in the middle, is for a slave drive. Throw your new hard drive in the slave position, and turn your PC on. Enter bios and make sure that it has detected your new hard drive correctly, and reboot your computer. Windows should now see your new drive. If you would like a more concise explanation, just let me know. I dont know how much you know about hardware, so its hard to tell the degree of detail to enter into, when describing how to do it
  13. Greetings and Salutations! Welcome aboard.
  14. I aim to please!
  15. Greetings! I've made a graphic which i'd like to have as my website. On this graphic, id like to have a little boxy thing (much alike the box you use to reply to a message here on the forums) where i can update the news, and users can scroll up and down to see the old news. On the right of the page i wish to have a few links. Thats it. Simple huh? Not for me... As you can tell by my avatar, I am disabled, and am unable to get something as simple as this to work properly. I was wondering if i send this graphic i have made to someone, could they please assist me and setting up this page the way i would like it ? I'd greatly appreciate it.
  16. Do you think you could give me a brief little description about each of these variables? Ill add them to the program right away.

  20. Thanks AaronXP. This is a fantastic timesaver. Just make sure to keep it updated
  21. If you use your applications.cmd to place yet another batch file into the system startup, it will run next time the PC boots. Just order the batch file to delete itself when its done. Thats how i'd do it.

    Win XP Registry

When you uninstall programs, it is very common for the uninstaller to leave its dirty little footprints in the regristry. This means your registry will contain keys and values that are of no use to your computer, as you've uninstalled the software. Just one of the features of a regristry cleaner, is that it can search for redundant keys, and let your remove them safely
  23. @AaronXP When you update the unattended website, do you plan to rewrite the guide using screenshots and easy to follow instructions, or simply link to the forums?

    Old vs Young

OLD V YOUNG ROOSTERS A farmer goes out one day and buys a brand new stud rooster for his chicken coop. The new rooster struts over to the old rooster and says, "OK old man, time for you to retire." The old rooster replies, "Come on, surely you cannot handle ALL of these chickens. Look what it has done to me. Can't you just let me have the two old hens over in the corner?" The young rooster says, "Beat it: You are washed up and I am taking over." The old rooster says, "I tell you what, young stud. I will race you around the farmhouse. Whoever wins gets the exclusive domain over the entire chicken coop." The young rooster laughs. "You know you don't stand a chance old man. So, just to be fair I will give you a head start." The old rooster takes off running. About 15 seconds later the young rooster takes off running after him. They round the front porch of the farmhouse and the young rooster has closed the gap. He is already about 5 inches behind the old rooster and gaining fast. The farmer, meanwhile, is sitting in his usual spot on the front porch when he sees the roosters running by. He grabs his shotgun and - BOOM - He blows the young rooster to bits. The farmer sadly shakes his head and says,"Dammit... third gay rooster I bought this month." Moral of this story.... Don't mess with the OLD GUYS - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
