It would be very nice, I agree with Sprudeldudel, because there are a lot of things that 'bloated' Nero to a size that's obviously useless for the most of us. It would be nice to see a complete how-to on doing Nero7 customized packages. Mine would be only with Burning ROM and Express, along with Info Tools, and nothing more than a couple of plug-ins, because I have a UA XPSP2 DVD and would like to add some useful programs (WinRAR, Nero, Grisoft's AVG, Spybot S&D, latest DX9c and so on) on it. --ThundernetBR i posted a how-to to make an msi installer. maybe you can try to make your own. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...mp;#entry672558

well, this file listing i made is working for the latest 7.10.1.0 as well. about the recode file listing im thinking of giving up as i dont really need it but there is atill a little demand of it. if i can come upt with something that works i will let you know. thanks.

have you tried to run the setup with standard switches to see if it updates your installation silently? some old updates of acrobat did work like this but the last ones of versions 7.x.x didnt. i havent tested this update yet.

you sounded rude asking like that. maybe nobody knows or if someone knew maybe your way of asking scare him... you can try to look in the NSIS documentation online to see if there is a way you can achieve what you want. as far as i know for standard setups there is no way to show progress bars...

are you 100% sure this is the only file needed to use with forms? if so then i can now make an installer that has the feature to install this file... thanks for pointing that out.

download the latest SPTD driver from www.duplexsecure.com and install with this: add /silent before launching the DT installer. maybe this helps you as this type of tools first check if it is already installed. if not, they install it, and the setup continues after doing a reboot. maybe thats why you are having troubles with the setup.

shark already posted instructions on how to do an AIP of messenger so anyone can make their own patched install without any problems. @shark: that's bad man, sorry...

have you tried looking in the 7-zip docs/help/online guides if there is a set commands you can run to achieve what you want?

i haven't checked yet but i think it is an update instead of a full release. will get it later and try /silent with it.

thanks shark. keep up the good work with adobe reader. @RaGhul Foxit is great but it has problems opening files with security info, digital signatures, etc. if you use it to open average pdf files you are well with it. if not, use adobe reader/reader lite....

right now there is only an english installer, but as usual other languages will follow so stay tuned.

and to export your settings just open the configuration of ffdshow and click on export settings.

i just finished making the spanish installer. i already pm shark007 to ask him if it possible to host it on his repository. so if he can, spanish version will be there. my installer doesnt includes the autolaunch registry entry, it doesnt create desktop shortcut neither installs browser BHO and it doesnt sets your homepage to msn.

For languages other than English, you will need to download the tutorial and create your own installer.If elajua, a trusted source, has a spanish version to share with original files I'll be more than happy to share it on my repository. shark im making some other installers right now but i definitively will make a new spanish version of 8.5 Beta, will contact you Shark when im done (gone for the weekend, so i will have it monday/tuesday next week).

@major just a suggestion, can you write a "last updated date" for files to your post? this way everyone can know if they have the latest. i made an msi installer that includes nero, nero express, toolkit, mausau plugins and cover designer. i use files from the acheron's SDK and from someone on another board. i already made a post for version 7.8.5.0 but the file listing there is working for 7.9.6.0, if anyone is interested in making an msi installer.

have you checked the paths? you should have your files inside $OEM$\$1\Install in your xpcd. They have to be in X(system drive):\Install not just X:

there some other things besides product codes. maybe you can try without REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomus or search to see exactly what those parameters do with the setup. You can always uninstall the original package silently before installing the modified one. If you are running this setup from a batch file or runonceex or else, do a search for messenger, and if found, uninstall it before launching your modified setup. Hope this helps.

i found myself working on an msi installer for nero lite. This way people that uses group policy or just prefer msi installers can make one on their own. currently my setup consist of 4 components: Nero Lite itself, MauSau Plugins, Cover Designer, Toolkit. Im trying to come up with a 5th component to install Recode but im having some problems with it. Im letting recode out of this for now (if someone has already made a recode addon or know exactly which files to use, please post them and will include it both on this thread and my setup). This file listing is somewhat different from the nero lite release of Acheron and Major but i have found that it worked for me, so i save some disk space with just this files. Also, im using all files inside one folder in program files, instead of using common files folder. Im working on the Recode component, but so far i got an error at the end of the process when testing it. If someone know which files to install and what to do, please post or send me a pm so i can include it. I hope this helps out everyone in need for a msi installer for nero lite.

if you unpack the installer, you have to run various .exe files. dont get confused. to install right, you just have to run the file you got from microsoft, that is wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe and add this parameters to command line: wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe /Q:A /R:N you can add the above command to runonceex if you are using it to install your programs.
