I updated the main post to make sure everyone sees that Requisites Switchless needs to be installed as well. Sadly, there is no way to slim down the size of WLM and its requisites. On my main computer, i have an uninstall entry, but i will look into this on other computers as soon as i find some time.

I will try to look for the files in my laptop, but tomorrow. Meanwhile, try looking for the Wave RC (Released in december). That installer surely extracts the files to that .cache folder.

Sorry, but i don't have much time. You can follow the instructions in my tutorial to make it in your own language.

Run the setup and dont' install yet. Look for the MSI installer in your windows temp folder. Now you can cancel the setup and use the MSI file. Then just use /qb /norestart or /qn /norestart.

The switchless installer can be downloaded now. They are the same as the RC, which stood as final version.

Just make sure to uncheck the box that hides system files in folder options in Windows Explorer. Also, you need to uncheck the one that says Show hidden files and folders. I will update the tutorial, links to the full installers and a new set of switchless installers will be done tomorrow.

Modified some links so people can get the new offline installers for WLM9 RC 14.0.8050.1202. The switchless installers also has been updated.

You can export your serial numbers from the registry and import them using a reg file.

I just tried NAR 1.2.4 and Nero 9.2.6.0 to make an installer for Express and Recode, English and Spanish (AL). It didn't worked on a clean Vista installation. C++ 2005 Redist was installed. The SFX made by NAR extracted and started setupx but it didn't install it. I tried making a repack with 7-zip without any luck. Maybe the command line parameter are wrong or something but setupx doesn't install nero.

I can't test x64 installers but it seems like it could be a failed installation of an earlier iTunes version. Uninstall iTunes and download Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility from here. Then, try to install my switchless installer and see if it works well this time. Don't forget QuickTime Alternative and its iTunes Add-on too.

It doesn't in Vista or XP.

That's normal when using it in Windows 7. However, i don't know if one can avoid/change that behavior.

Thanks for the link. It worked. Just a suggestion to the author: The header and footer of your app really get in the way. Maybe you could just remove them (at least the footer. It is useless). And i have a suggestion about the tab controls. You could make them the same size and just keep the other controls in top of them so your program looks better by displaying the same container. This way the overall look is improved. Oh, i forgot. The splash-screen is a little bit annoying too. Will make some sfx tonight. Thanks.

I've made three packages, one with express, one with express and recode, and another with express, recode and coverdesigner. Using Vista Ultimate SP1 x86 and everything worked. However, when i used the earlier versions of NAR (without the integrated, SFX and language removers, i ended up with smaller files).

I ended up making AutoIt scripts to install Winamp. With every new version, i just make a new script and works very well. However, making this installer version independent would be great.
