Diskman 4 doesn't say enything about formatting NTFS file system and Diskman 5 doesn't run under dos and is still at a beta stage. have you used diskman jaclaz?

You could try building loads of walls to slow him down whilst building an army, or titian of your own? The Titians seem to like to destroy everything so build huts along the way. Played the game loads myself but cant recal the level your on, play through LAN mostly.

unfortuantly, and greatfully, i am a family man and little money to spend on new HD's. So the specific sizes arn't something i will need to change for the near future. Astalavista, do you know how to do it? Also like your idea of the GUI to install programms, unfortunatly i cant help as i know nothing of programming. My unattended XPCD i would like to contain NO software, then after installation slap in a DVD disk with all software on, tick the ones i want and it would then install everything unattended. Wraith was working on this with XPdeploy but stopped some time ago, although i read he is trying to incorpreate it into XPlode 2.0.

This would not be fully unattended as is would stop and ask me for partition sizes. Can anyone help?

You could editr the re-name the 0.0.7.6 version to read 0.0.7.5 to fool the auto script. OR edit the script it's self. Or it may just work ant how

I take it you searched and found THIS post of no use? I used the Auto It script for the 0.0.7.5 build but haven't tryed the latest release yet. Dont kow of any switches either.

I am also intrested in this. I have an 80gig HD and want to split it into 3 sections of different sizes. If im correct 3rd party software is neded as this can't be done in Winnt.sif. I have a copy of Partition Magic that i used to split my HD, could i somehow use this to partition my HD before the Unattended XPCD kicks in?

i used to use Fireburner to burn bin and cue files. This was an excallant program as is was fast loading and small unlike Easy cd or Nero etc. Unfortunatly it is not compatable with my MSI DVD writer. Can anybody recomend any other software?

If you mean Reg tweaks, try posting the Actual reg entry as this would be more useful than discribing what it does. This is a good idea wamatt as some users tend to search for tweaks and incorpreate them in their unattended xpcd without knowing what they are for (or how dangerous they can be )

Im slipstreaming my Dell OEM XPSp1a pro disk with SP2 and encountering problems....see my posts at Slipstreaming SP2 into Dell OEM cd Does anyone know what this file is for and can i delete it safetly before creating my XP SP2 iso?

I did copy these files from my Corporate version of XP pro into the /I386 folder of the Dell OEM ...and the only error was when copying the files to the hard drive: this is some kind of driver file but i dont know what? Apart from that file the install went with out a hitch . I will try again but deleting the file before making the .iso. EDIT: Apparently msacm32.drv is part of the Windows audio subsystem. msacm32 I have copied the following files from my Corporate version of XP pro into the /I386 folder of the Dell OEM and created an iso using nlite to merge it with SP2 The merging went fine and the installation went without a hitch I will be installing various software to test the install for stability and will report back soon. EDIT 21-8-04 Installed various sofeware icluding Symantic anti virus Corporate 9, Sygate firewall, Acid pro 4, Daemon Tools and Creative drivers for my live drive. All without problems.

I have the same problem slipstreaming my Dell OEM cd with SP2. Found this on the dell slipstreaming support area. It refers to slipstreaming Windows 2000 with sp1. Havent tryed this with XP pro and sp2. Dell support I have a 'copy' of the Corporate version of XP pro and was wondering if i copied these files: into the /I386 folder of the Dell OEM will the install work without any errors?
