US tabs here--I just noticed that the US version ALREADY has that tab. Hmm...

All secure! I trust Sygate, but any decent firewall will do. The trick is to make yourself a harder target than the next person so you get left alone.

I also like X-Setup...good for black-belt system tuning. PLUS it's 100% freeware. I bow at the feet of x-setup!

The only one I know of that you can do it with (aside from reverse-engineering the other clients) is MSN Messenger 6. I prefer to draw pictures on a large scale in Paintshop Pro, then reduce them to MSN 6 specifications--which, by the way, is 19x19 pixels. Or you could go dot-by-dot on a 19x19 square. It's not that bad.

Lol... Shouldn't these four Messenger threads be merged? They are very similar. Or perhaps it would be better to make the board searching link into a HUGE RED BUTTON!

Ever tried AEfdisk? I've never seen a better dos utility...it's like a full-featured fdisk with a LOT more options.

As in appz? :punk:

Due to tremendous pressure from hordes of MSFN members (Shaft) I am officially changing my stance on J.K. Rowling. She has been downgraded from the status of "Equal" with J.R.R. Tolkein and will take her place alongside C.S. Lewis as "Almost Tolkein". Surely, she is a talented writer, but John Ronald Ruel Tolkein would easily defeat her in both writing AND armwrestling were he alive today. C.S. Lewis, on the other hand, has assumed room temperature, so we can only speculate as to his armwrestling skills versus an obviously talented Rowling. NO NO NO NO Im sorry you cant just plain lie like that. There is no way EVER that J.R Spamalot will EVER be even in the same class as tolkein, let alone better than him. Dont get me started, im warning you right now. And look--J.R.R. Tolkein, J.K. Rowling. Their names even resemble each other. Definitely a match! I think J.K. Rowling has definitely passed him up, even. If he were alive today, she could probably outwrite him as well. And probably beat him in armwrestling, too. Tolkein was just a hack anyway. He only managed to write one character well. J.K. Rowling, on the other hand, teaches valuable lessons about life through her personality-rich characters and, at the same time, interests children in the occult. Very unique!

Check here. You will need to download a hex editor to get it working. I like XVI32!

Here in North America (especially during snowstorms--I'm in North Dakota) it gets terrible. During sticky snowstorms, it sometimes gets so bad that you have to bundle up, grab a broom, and sweep it. The satellites that have a footprint over the UK are quite a few years newer, so they most likely have better transmitters in place. Wish we could get some new ones!

How rude.

Ahh...then I would go with digital cable for TV!

For internet or what? I would rather have fast internet than any kind of television proramming.

Not just to parrot information from everyone else on the planet, but have you gotten the latest drivers at ATI's website?

Absolutely! I've seen enough of ".oO~~yO Yo hoMieZ cHeCk OuT mAh nU SiG~~Oo.". Let your sig speak for itself, I say. Reminds me of a proverb my dad used to tell me--"Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips." However, if others want to engage in this sort of thing, I won't stand in the way of their interests. I probably am interested in things that the sig people aren't. Whatever floats your boat! Don't let me spoil the fun.

I got the same thing! After every reboot. I even hex edited windows file protection files, and it will not go away. It's not fun having to do that on every reboot.

I would also try to trip him.

I would think, "Man, that's really weird." Then suddenly an Agent would sense what I was thinking, take over my body, and chase him. Probably.

It was called "Sorcerer's Stone" here in the US. I know, I know. It's silly. But I guess it was just an administrative decision on the publisher's part. By the way, can you PM me who dies? My friends won't let me borrow the book until they are done.

hrm, weird that u think its a book just for children when they have released the same book with a different cover especially for the older readers. I agree. They're exceptionally well-written (although I'm just starting the first one). My girlfriend has read all of them, and so has a 27-year-old friend of mine. I'm 23 myself, and yes, at first I had to be dragged in to see the Sorcerer's Stone, but after that, I found the stories to be marvelous yarns that are worth noting. J.K. Rowling's work shows that she's one of the most innovative writers since Tolkein.

Thanks for the help guys! Up until now, I've just been telling my friends that the files are demon-possesed.

I like AVG Antivirus--it's free, updated VERY often, and it doesn't use a lot of system resources. Fastest antivirus I have!

Whew...everything seems to be normal now. I was beginning to feel like I was on a dial-up for a while.
