The guy next to me gets his internet free via my router, which I am gracious to provide. Web browsing doesn't get in my way; he uses very little bandwidth there. However, he constantly uses bittorrent and other P2P apps which suck all my upload speed up. How do I set my router to block bittorrent?

I made a batch that installs Kerio perfectly, all versions, and included it in my RunOnceEx. Sadly though, the install seems to skip right through it on the installation and no firewall installs. Here's my batch; do you see anything wrong with it? To clarify, I mean that the batch works only when I run in manually. It runs during RunOnceEx, but has no effect. Will the quotes trip me up in my RunOnceEx, or can I install it that way just as it says?

How do I keep RunOnceEx from sliding off of the screen when I have too many items? Can it go into a second column? Everything gets installed, sure, but I'd like to be able to see it as it happens. If this has been covered in another topic, I'm sorry. Just couldn't find it on the search.

My MSN Messenger shows everything in English except the web-based drop down menus in "Play a Game", which are in Korean. Sure, I'm in Korea and all, but it doesn't mean that's the language I speak. How can I fix this? I'm yearning for some Bejeweled here...

Might I chime in with the same sentiment? NForce IDE drivers are horrible. The rest of it is fine, but the IDE drivers have caused problems since the beginning, and it's no different for the latest ones (3.13).

I'm getting this problem, and it happens even if I run a program before it, behind it, exclude the zero, etc. Is this not meant to run in a windows environment?

Does anyone know a proper switch for KLR that doesn't bring up the user config wizard?

I can't get sleep.exe to work. I include "start /wait sleep.exe 5", but all it does is bring up a seperate command window which closes quickly and moves on to the next line of the batch. Am I doing something wrong?

Try installing it to a 2 GB (or as low as 1.8 GB) partition first. It works, and I don't know why. You can resize it later with Partition Magic. I'll assume if you're using a CD that gets errors, you can also get Partition Magic pretty quickly I played with this for literally eighteen months, even resorting to installing Windows 98 first (which also works, but is much slower).

It would have been a good game if it had been released three years ago, one of the greatest even. With mods and time to mature on the PC, it could have been the Counterstrike-killer. Sadly, they dropped the ball. They should have sped up everything for the PC. It had to be slower on the X-Box due to the control method. When you have a keyboard and a mouse, you can react more quickly. And they added nothing except a couple of maps and some DX9-level shaders. It's a game everyone should play through at least once (ESPECIALLY if you own an Xbox), and the multiplayer still has tons of potential, but there are some things that they should have thought through a little better when it hit the PC.

A lot of people are installing it, but it keeps showing up on windows update. Look in your add/remove programs. It should be there.

I put all MS security updates as of October 15th, 2003 into a single, self-extracting file, available for download here, but even though it installs the security rollup package, it still shows up on Windowsupdate as not being installed. How do I fix this? Is there a reg key or something?

I use Hijack This to eliminate things out that Spybot and Ad Aware don't.

Hehe...that's why I was unimpressed. I was hoping it [EDIT: Build 1214] was going to be something that integrated new, important features like SP1. What a letdown it was to find out that it was just a rollup that I had already done myself Plus it had the added detractor of having to edit the registry to get that "For Testing Purposes Only" business to go away.
