i tried the .inf u sent....and all file association is the way it should meaning .mp3 files are registred properly. what i think u do is that u install some other audio player after setup that brakes the files association.

what u show here is that u integrated wmp 11 and u removed wmp and wmp 6.4....... thats dumb cause it will cause u that errors. if u integrate wmp11 dont remove that 2. or if u want to remove wmp completely ...dont integrate wmp11.

no, serial is version related. so for home premium u need to buy a new license

clavicle u have to keep security center dont remove it and all probs will be gone

do u remove something with nlite? if so ....keep security center and retest....

well the cat files are stored in svcpack folder but u remove them with nlite.......not manually

when using a beta software its better to start with a fresh source ...not an already nlited one.

mu doesnt show all that fixes ..... if i remeber right it only shows up 2 of them (which are critical).

sp3 doesnt come with wmp 11......and nor it will. as for all tweaks applied.....u should check settings in wmp11 to see if they are changed.

I have integrated v3244 SP3 manual...it doesn't accept gen XP SP2 product key....If nlite is used to integrate for XP SP3...Will XP SP3 accept XP SP2 product key? it works for me ....but it didnt work with previous versions of sp3

or u can integrate the files in that folder with nlite as drivers........

syd tried the files u sent with few little modifications (i used english xp, ryans update pack and ie7 pack) no errors. i didnt integrate all that drivers tho......... anyway....please try one step in a row. slipstream wmp and hotfixes in one row ...then try in vmware. if everything ok go further nlite with only fixes and so on......

Sydnelson can u please attach (dont copy/paste) your nlite preset? also please attach sysoc.inf, wmp11.inf, wmp11ext.inf. thx

mitsukai please dont talk about thing u dont know.... and u proved yourself ..... u dont even know what klite install..... noob if u do like that u will have wmp but with no functionality .....cause u need to install the other components so wmp can work. at least wmfdist11.exe should be installed.
