leadboots thanx for yor pm. i tested installing that ruckus player...downloaded songs and they were working nice played in ruckus player. then i closed it and played the songs in wmp11 integrated with wmp 11 slipstreamer. alll were good. only one little thing.......downloads werent working in IE6 ....so i had to install IE7.....

how did u integrate wmp11?

leadboots is there any demo i can try? cause it seems i cant find it on that site.....

if u go to the KB article u will see it is specified that this fix is only for wmp (all versions). and another prove is that u unpack it inside the the fix there are files specific for all versions of wmp.

yes all updates are the newest that installs on wmp 11 with the last version. anyhow xpx32 version of 929399 is also listed on the microsoft kb article..... here is the direct link: 929399

u have to run the installer with the /a switch. in this way u create an administrative install and also u unpack the installer. then u go to the folder u created the admin install and run the .msi file with the /qn switch. u can also look here and here

also for kb888111 it only exists versions for 2ksp4 xpsp1 xpsp2 and 2k3sp0

usually most of this addons are silent installers that will be installed from svcpack or from runonce. so to answer your question...if the original installer adds the firefox plugin then this one will tooo. there are plenty of tweaks and it would take a lot to post them here.... anyhow i am working on a separate page with tweaks. so if u want only few tweaks ...u will have to wait

no it doesnt include IE7 and yes u will have to install final sp3 when it comes out if u the release candidate. so better wait until sp3 is final and slipstream it at that time.

if u already used wmp 11 slipstremer then its no need to add any in nlite....maybe only tweaks......

the answer is yes u can go slim down i do all in one shot: adding update pack and addons then slim down and add unattended and tweaks.

u can slipstream ryans pack using nlite.

oki.....then do u use ie7 installer or ie7 addon?
