cant we do that already from LAN , vga, printer drivers and add our own ?

all what i what do is copy the cds to hard drive like c:\office.dvd than make folders cd1 cd2 so on and copy each cd into there folder hope thats helps a you out a tab

i didt have a look at trying to make it go as a driver it was 3 or 4 am here i had a quick look at the files its has but im trying it now i will let you know hows its goes i looked at the beta ver unzip it and add them as a driver if they install right or not i cant tell you i dont use a USB modem

yep, but its an addon to be pre installed without the user doing anything

i only use 1.1 and ver 2 some of my program i run need ver 1.1 only program i use need ver 2 is Nlite ver 1

does it check all incoming / outgoing files / data on the fly ( live scaning)

yep runonce.cmd file i think its called i got a 4.3 gb dvd iso with all my CORE must need appz from image editing to office, PWS, and other stuff to use up space with about 50 mb of mp3s to play dueing the install ** mp3s are coyped to hard drive to stop any lag when playing and the DVD rom is being used to install appzs **

try this download it unzip it and add it to the nlite drive tab see if its works that way its like a heap of inf files so its more of a driver than a addon

dont take this the wrong way ok ... like i lost my car keys thats mean to everyone nothing same here with this post like your last_session.ini file you used or tell us what addons / changes you did so we can try to work out what happen

updates as in windows hot fixes updates or something else ?

ok this sounds like WTF from me the lastest release of the program does have most of the old updates installed as apart of the program as far as i know three topices merge

im doing a new clean ver of it sorting into the group they belong in i got side track with some other stuff over the week so i will get back to it again tonight maybe or tomorrrow ps. can you put next time in the title [Release] or [Addon] so that we all know what it is

CD ROOT - > $OEM$ -> c -> install ->ocd1 << put your office files here >> note due to the size of office and the size of windows you may going to be using a dvd , i dont think you will get arrr 800 mb onto a normal cd justs a heads up edit dam it i gotta put a file on here so its looks right

thats from a .bat file i used for the run once its would be office.cmd [as the file name] or copy and past into the runonce.cmd file but you gotta make sure the office install files are copyed over to hard drive to be able to install them and than %systemdrive%\install.app\ocd1\setup TRANSFORMS="%systemdrive%\install.app\ocd1\CD1.MST" /qb-

give me 5 mins to find my .bat files i used to fire up office and i will post them here and show how i do stuff ok this is what my office install commond .bat file looks like FOR %%i IN (D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z) DO IF EXIST %%i:\wpi\wpi.hta SET CDROM=%%i: @echo off echo now starting Office cd 1 %CDROM%\wpi\install\appz\ocd1\setup TRANSFORMS="%CDROM%\wpi\install\appz\ocd1\CD1.MST" /qb- all what you are needing is c:\install.app\ocd1\setup TRANSFORMS="c:\install.app\ocd1\CD1.MST" /qb- if you going to ask what the top part is for its used to find the CD-rom / dvd drive and than its sets the gives the %cdrom% a path to goto ** note ** im only working with office 2003 i cant remeber if i did this stuff with office 2000 or not but i think its about the same commond lines

can i ask why do people use the msiexec when they are loading the MSI files , its seems a tab odd to me .. coz i never used that commond
