Did you try customize dtop in the display properties. He also might have a profile proble. Try to recreate it.

HAve you checked your bios. Your DMA shold be in there somwhere. Also if there is none move the pci card to a different slot.

If you are talking about user ones then you can just delete out the all users startup folder and the all users reg part. If you arer talking about hardware profiles I am not sure.

If none is there there should be a jumper pin. Check your mobo manual.

Any 2000 or nt support? You could always try those drivers? What about linux support?

Must be an incompatable driver. Can you upgrade the driver/firmware on the card? Also in general I have found out that some old laptops do not really work well with sp2.

Do you know what format the videos are? Did you update your quick time? Does it ask for a plug in? I would clear out your firefox temps to cookies and temp files.

Our VT email server was recently upgraded to exchange 2003 from exchange xp. Before that I had a regular non exchange pop account. What do I need to do in outlook to see my boxes in real time ( not download ) Do I have to have outlook 2003?

I found the problem it was a program call epi. It was lpcking wua nd it was also looping sys reboot. Removing that program worked. I only found this out when looking in my event viewer in the mis errors section. What a pia. But I am glad it's fixed.

Are you using ntfs? If yes you need to take ownership in admin and then redo all privilages.

Everything seems fine on a compute I have at work but for some reason when I type in or select windows update from my list IE with auto maticlaly freeze before it even loads. Why is this? How can I fix this? IE works with all other sites. I could understand if it frooze when loading but t's right after ie starts to load the page. nothing is on the screen but ie's white page. There are several free linux like part tools on the ubcd. Those are free. Use those if none of the other options work.
