Thanks, now this mystery is solved, at least we know the reason. All roads for Win 8 lead ro Supermium, I guess. I still not want to use it. And seeing its streaming problem, it adds more to the point.
Thanks for a good laugh, guys, sorry for the off-top.
When I lived in Denmark, we had a mini ATX Fujitsu at work, they were incredibly quiet. Fans would spin up only during summers, and only under a considerable load like encoding.
Right, it looks absolutely different from the standard WD Red platform that they produce themselves. I own a WD40EFRX, I can tell.
This one is indeed made by Hitachi, just look at the air breather. A classic Hitachi breather
Seeing how Supermium follows all modern trends, I'd rather assume it will be similar to the standard version 132, as we saw before.
Take all those "experiments" features, for example. And I too want the classic design they dumped in favour of the new.
In short, thanks, but no. Long story. My original image from the phone was about 5mb, which the forum wouldn't accept. I resized it to 807px and 49kb (see the details).
And even then, it still gimped the quality down to 3kb!
And for rather younger people like me, HDDs are not popular anymore, I think they are in decline, everyone just streams these days.
That would explain the pitiful quality!
It's simple, EFRX are a series of server models, hence the producer doesn't care about the noise, but at least it's more reliable, it works fine even today - 24/7.
My father had bought me a WD40EFRX in 2016, works till this day in my desktop. Though it's not quiet, but is a lot less noisier than Toshiba or Seagate.
Could he just catch a virus?

That's probably due to the things people dream of, or simply want to see in their life. Yes, I too like to be Captain Obvious.
I'm starting to notice later versions of uBlock let some ads to slip through in Supermium, is it the old engine?
Or I need to downgrade the UBO?
But hey, I heard they restored in some forks, so try it. As the last resort.

The flag to stop playing the videos had been removed a long time ago. It was still working in my kindergarten times, in 201x.
