this would be a great idea for the forum because it would move all the abandoned topics to the archive and make room for fresh new posts to get this forum back to it good old days! what does anyone think of this idea?

microsoft could acquire discord for more than $10 billion as soon as april, according to a new report. earlier this week, a number of independent reports, starting with venturebeat, claimed that san francisco-based discord, a gaming-focused social-media company, was talking to a number of potential suitors. Now the Wall Street Journal is reporting that it's down to just microsoft, the exclusive potential purchaser, which may be ready to pay $10 billion-plus for discord by april. In my humble, microsoft-watching opinion, discord makes a lot more sense for microsoft to buy than tiktok or pinterest, two other "communities" the company was eyeing as a way to grow its consumer footprint. gaming is microsoft's most successful consumer space. users already are able to link their xbox accounts to discord. microsoft already has skype and teams for voice, video and text chatting -- services that discord also provides. and microsoft's last foray into growing a gaming community via its mixer game-streaming acquisition, didn't end so well. But it still feels like the potential synergies outweigh the negatives. If microsoft follows its established playbook, it will allow discord to run mostly independently, as it has done with LinkedIn and GitHub. im not using windows vista any more it got corrupted so badly that it was unreparible so i switched to windows xp and it works so much better and faster i want to use vista forever but it just does not work for me

yes i turned on my laptop and it appered on my taskbar and it shows downloading 7% i used @i430VXs wusus regestry fix for windows update

i just got the yellow shield icon to show up on my computer today and it shows its downloading updates! i dont know how i got it to work but it looks like its working!

i have no idea what music was like in the 90s because i was born in 2000 all i know about is the new disco style music and the country and rock music that is the new disco of the 2000s i wish i was around in the 90s to get to see all the cool stuff back then i missed the 90s by one year after the end of it

my laptop: e6430 dell laptop from 2012 my specs: intel(r) hd graphics 4000 intel(r) core(tm) i5-3320m cpu @ 2.60ghz intel(r) centrino(r) advanced-n 6205 my experience with vista has been awesome! it does every thing so fast and smooth and does what i want it to do and not what microsoft wants it to do so i give it a 10/10 experience! (Edit: oh and i also like that it has 0 telemetry!)

i dont know if im a indian but i know my dad is 100% czech his family originated in czech republic and moved here

i installed it on the same harddrive on a 2 partition i made but after i deleted windows 8.1 and fixed the partition windows vista started working

i did a duelboot of vista/8.1 so i could use vista for older stuff and windows 8.1 for modern stuff and my vista install is not new ive had it installed for a while now

windows vista as of today wont logon at all and my keyboard is locked and wont type if i boot into it with windows 8.1 next to it is their any way to fix this?

i really like server 2008 because its based on vista and vista is the best version of windows as long as your computer can handle running it mine cant even run server 2008 but that could also be that my computer is a laptop and not a server
