will windows XP run good on any of these? I'm planning on updating my cpu In an old fujitsu lifebook s710 to a pentium 6100. 1st generation cpu and i've been doing lots of research on this and can't find anything about It so my question Is will It run on It? where can I find a collection of update up until 2014 For XP? Ive looked all over and cant find any place to download them if any one here knows a place to download these it would be greatly appreciated (I'm also working on making a windows xp vm with these updates)-legacyfan
i have an old pentium m i recently saved from an old D600 i had that broke and Im planning on reusing it in a desktop computer I'm working on and I was wondering if windows xp would run good on this or would it cause problems? if anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated
I found a solution! Microsoft still supports edge on windows 7 and still has a download for it on there website we could start using edge as a chrome replacement since its based on chrome https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/download?form=MA13FW here is the page for it (edit:edge follows the same support schedule as chrome and will stop support at the same time)
I've also been a member on several other forums like betaarchive and eclipse.cx and also eclect board apparently the msfn member refuge forum before coming back here
I found that gdevelop sort of work on windows xp x64 if you just extract the setup files from the exe it runs but very very slowly there's not much you can do with that unless a fix is found for it

i got it to work! i just needed to boot from the usb and pick the custom resize option during setup and it worked im now happily running ubuntu next to 8.1!
Ive installed windows 8.1 now and im working on getting lubuntu installed also and can't figure out a way to get linux and windows to boot together if any one knows how to do this it would be much appriciated
is their any way to completely disable that service? also thanks in advanced for all your help its good to know i can always turn to this forum for help in a dire situation like this
recently ive noticed that on my laptop running windows xp svchost uses 100% cpu all the time and ive found no way of fixing the problem if any one could help with this it would be much appriciated
