I just recently did a fresh install of windows xp and have been trying to get legacy update installed but everytime I try to install it I get an error 82 at the update aren't install and it never finished has anyone seen this error before? If anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated (and the windows is XP Pro x86)

windows 10 is definitely good but after awhile of using windows 11 it definitely is more usable then 10 (and way more stable) compaired to it even with the few annoying features in it its easy to configure to your needs

legacy-update should work with NT 4.0 (as it works with windows 2000) and should have the same functionallity unless that wrong (I don't know much about this type of thing)

I'll.be back on later so hopefully a solution will be found by then

thats what I was considering using I just did not know if it work or not

I guess I'll keep the certificates that are on it (for better compatibility)

I have a project ive been working on that ive been collecting updates for and the next updates I need are the root certificate updates for windows xp if anyone knows where I can find these it would be much appreciated

ok im downloading the media creation tool and will be install windows 11 shortly I also found the model of the 1030 I have supports windows 11 (I have the newer model)

from what ive tested pretty much any glarysoft and iobit software seem to work really well with vista and is even still listed as the newest they can be run on without issues (unless something changed over the past her years)

windows update should still work all you need is the sha-2 update and whatever the other needed update is and it should work again (theres also legacy update fix for if the update fix wont work)

is windows 11 good enough yet to upgrade to it? I'm considering upgrading my windows 10 to 11 and was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with or not if anyone could help this it would be much appreciated

the problem has now been fixed (I accidentally set my computer to uefi which windows 7 really does not like)

I'm planning on installing windows 11 in a vm for verious testing purposes and was wondering if there where any methods of bypassing the tpm requirement on windows 11? if anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated (and the vm will be running on vmware player on windows 10)

this issue has been persistent recently to where no matter what is of 7 I use it always get stuck at Starting Windows and it never gets any further past that and it starting to get annoying if anyone could help diagnose the problem or knows what going on it would be much appreciated

windows xp is the best! (and one of my best memories from my younger years)

I finally made the move to windows 10 permanently and its never been better! its so much smoother compaired to older windows versions and can run things so much better than even 7 can! it been a good experience
