-
please just leave me alone if you don't have anything good to say i have no business talking to you i don't get offended by your words anymore as its pointless to do so
-
yes there is alot of valuable windows software and fan extesion projects stored on there

this has nothing to do with that thread as its talking about the emergency server move situation not just that its down as its not down just very buggy to use right now

as of yesterday evening eclipse.cx is officially down due to server errors that caused an emergency server move @K4sum1 is aware of the issues and is working on restoring everything but for now nothing works and will get an ajax 500 error on loading the site i know quite a few people use this forum and i hope this does not interfere with anything

Ive had enough of the money-grabbing microsoft has gotten themselves into the past 8 years as nothing has changed windows 8/8.1 is still a disaster windows 7 has a huge amd driver block so i cant use my new gpu on it and windows 10 goes out of support in 1 year from now im just sick of windows in general and will be permanently switching to linux for the foreseeable future i will not be giving microsoft another cent of my money towards there "telemetry infested" OS any longer! we need to stand up to are freedoms not just act like they can be temporarily erased

midori browser is also an option for those who would rather have less telemetry https://astian.org/midori-browser/ (known telemetry use at your own risk)

this is completely correct and i will continue to deny telemetry and its uses for as long as information hungry company's continue to dominate what your os sends to them without your confirmed consent! and will officially retract my statement saying its not a "telemetry bloater" as it definitely is nomatter how you put it
-
while windows 10 does have its issues i have never once had any problems with updates on windows 10 ever this whole disable updates or get spied on scaremongering is overused out in the world today pretty much every company uses telemetry now for almost anything they can possible fit it in and stopping it 100% will never become a reality as there is to much for simply disabling it while i do respect those who make it there goal to minimize it you can never fully stop it as company's will always be one step ahead of you on keeping that from happening
-
i agree with this about the telemetry it's a big annoyance that i can never seem to remove completely and while i do want to remove everything for me updates are something i will always use but with the exception of removing the telemetry filled updates as i for one am not convinced by the whole every update has telemetry scaring that microsoft wants you to think
-
for me using wise force uninstall tool always works to remove the bloat without failing its been my go-to method for windows 10 repair
-
this whole e-waste myth is getting a little crazy now as there are other options for how to reuse a old pc well past 2025 even using linux while i don't usually recommend it due to its terrible non ease of use is still one of the few best options besides downgrading to windows 7-XP and hoping everything still functions
-
i really only use darkmode to get the colored taskbar function working and that's pretty much it Ive hardly ever used it at all and i rarely ever change anything with the startmenu except for removing tiles if it was not for my amd card only supporting windows 10 for some unknown reason i would of switched to something older by now
-
im sticking with windows 10 below 2004 as those were at least known for having the least amount of telemetry of the bunch plus Ive never had any update issues with anything everything after that is just extra weight i don't need on an os
-
the good old windows 10 classic esthetic way better then 11 theme will ever look
