  1. How old is your PC? I guess you cant expect faster boot time on Pentium 3, but on my 9 year old PC (with HDD) windows 7 starts in 26 seconds...
  2. Try resetting all services to default, then it will maybe work. Partially related to this: Do You know what scheduled tasks and services are necessary to be able to disable and enable features (same Undoing changes error)?
  3. What you are looking for is called crack, because if program is protected with hardware id, then when hardware id changes you must type again your key or crack its protection...
  4. If you hate it, it doesnt mean windows 10 is not good, it just means that you didnt spent enough time to tweak it work better
  5. So thats one of things windows 10 can be good at... Curing gamers from gaming addiction...
  6. 40 seconds on SSD? I wonder how much boot would be faster if WarpDisk is used on SSD...
  7. O_O. My boot time on HDD (laptop from 2010) with tweaked windows 10 is only between 26 and 30 seconds (with WarpDisk installed).
  8. its 6 months (http://www.theverge.com/2017/4/20/15374864/microsoft-windows-10-update-september-2017)
  9. Can you make a list of things that cannot be changed in windows 10 since I didnt encounter such problem. Metro still can be completely disabled (for now), start menu, explorer and taskbar can easily be made to look like windows 7 (thanks to 3rd party tools), open with dialog can easily be replaced... I didnt even encounter any problem even after disabling large number of services (I only have 37 services enabled).
  10. Is this the all registry keys that should be kept (td.reg)? Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tasks\{8A1C4EF4-EDD4-459B-82B7-189C825A6C6F}] "Path"="\\Microsoft\\Windows\\TextServicesFramework\\MsCtfMonitor" "Hash"=hex:ac,7a,f0,60,67,e8,1d,60,1d,d9,a2,ea,82,78,ac,24,7b,26,75,cb,ac,d0,\ 2b,86,67,83,50,a0,8a,6c,72,6a "SecurityDescriptor"="D:(A;;FA;;;BA)(A;;FA;;;SY)(A;;FR;;;BU)" "Source"="$(@%systemRoot%\\system32\\MsCtfMonitor.dll,-1000)" "Description"="$(@%systemRoot%\\system32\\MsCtfMonitor.dll,-1001)"
  11. If registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache is deleted then nothing can be typed in metro apps (like edge). Anyone knows what scheduled tasks are needed for keyboard input to work in metro apps?
