You're welcome, glad to be of help, the driver I gave, it's one of the best for the Pascal gen., Let's not forget, GTX1080 is 8 years old. So don't chase newer drivers.
-
Something tells me that device is locked to the OEM manufacturers drivers only. I had a similar case in the past, only the supplied drivers worked, all drivers from Nvidia site simply crashed during high load.

He wouldn't be able to install them at all, if he had no required updates on the machine,

Can I use my proxy servers (paid, encrypted with a pass) for downloading from insta with it? Those proxies need to be changed via script 'cause insta blocks IPs after a couple dozens of pics were downloaded. I'm scrapping accounts with sports food.

No, it's not. "I will change the default for Sec-Ch-Ua to "Google Chrome". I think this may also help with some other website compatibility issues and reduce the fingerprinting surface of Supermium. And also introduce the option from ungoogled-chromium to disable UACH altogether, as well as options to report as Windows 11, iOS 17, Android latest version or macOS 15." https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/779#issuecomment-2269497358

Open nv_ref_pubwu.inf and replace all occurrences of 1B80 with 1BE0, click save, when a prompt shows about the unsigned driver, click yes.

I know for a fact that this precise driver worked flawlessly on my friend's laptop with a 1080. It's from Microsoft certified update. https://catalog.s.download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/driver/drvs/2018/04/8f1d9923-3457-43d7-929c-1ebb96122d58_1c548e6f1128501e7e3c8fff5bca8b6419f6cbcf.cab

Sounds very much like Alienware might be blocking the switching process between the GPU. Give me the device ID.

On a Win10 PC?! Why would you need XP browsers, then? If you're a die-hard of China issued browsers, I suggest this one. Minimum telemetry, very fast! Works on Win7+. Dave, sorry for the slight off-top. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186346-i-moved-to-centbrowser-i-feel-happy-about-it/ https://static.centbrowser.com/win_stable/5.1.1130.129/centbrowser_5.1.1130.129_x64_portable.exe Be Warned Some Telemetry is still there.

No, I think I wrote very clear, in a very simple English. Not the first time other people and I notice troubles with your translation software. "Any user, who is going to join, needs to be warned in advance that he will be forced to adhere to the laws of the welcoming entity." In other words, hey foreigner, follow the US laws, or be banned. Where did I write "company"? https://msfn.org/board/topic/186333-vxkex-extended-kernel-project-dissapeared/?do=findComment&comment=1270171

Please don't place Canadian laws in one row with those, it's no good to lump them altogether.
-
Any user, who is going to join, needs to be warned in advance that he will be forced to adhere to the laws of the welcoming entity. Does github practise such policies? If no warning or demand follows, we could only give a flying frenkel. https://byjus.com/chemistry/frenkel-defect/

Me? No, I don't want anything from them, I'm not a member there, I only join Western European websites (like MSFN, and it's located in France). I adhere to the laws of my country, it is sufficient for me.

NVIDIA Optimus and AMD Switchable Graphic with XP
D.Draker replied to genieautravail's topic in Windows XP
Hello! No, no solution. Switch to Nvidia only in the BIOS. Intel card is weak and crappy anyways. -
And here is my screenshot with a 2004 game Sacred Plus. It only supports CSAA, but not MSAA. Which is not surprising at all.
-
Please tell, where do you get this information? Do you own a 780 Ti? There's NO MSAA available in 700 series*, they only became to ship it with Maxwell. Here's proof, a screenshot from my personal 780 Ti. Only CSAA at the max 32x settiing can be selected. But no MSAA. * Probably, 750 Ti/Special Edition does support it, but it's an odd ball, and it was released as Maxwell in the next year, not Kepler, so it doesn't count,
-
He can't give you the source. No such source exists. CSAA was developed years before MSAA, that's why no source. Basically, the member made a baseless statement.
-
I think they do ignore, and the project gone due to the tiredness of the developer, but then again, it's a speculation since we saw no statement, even though he is a current member.
-
In this weird modern World, it doesn't work the way you assume. The US hosts a super large portion of openly anti-American population, most of them aren't even citizens, they broke all the laws, yet they aren't deported, they are even subsidised. It's the same with the github since they are an American entity, they resonate on the same (current) agenda frequencies. Also, regarding github, github works for the international market, they can't just throw away whomever they don't like. Or they would've needed to implement the only US members demand.
-
Microsoft has no jurisdiction over Canada and/or Australia. Win32 already explained (with the links to the laws, look for the post at his account), modifying isn't prohibited in Canada. Neither of us ("TINY userbase") reside in the US, so we don't actually care.
-
They send it via inbox at github, that would be my guess since I don't have an acc. there. Probably they even have a warning system, also.
