Fun fact, I don't eat bread as it's very bad for my health, thus I'm contributing to the clean planet, colder climate. And Eastern European nations consume more Russia's gas than bread, which is extremely terrible for the planet and their safety/security. It's a much more important fact. That said, I again want to share a fact that I don't use gas at my home, and the electricity comes from the cleanest French nuclear stations, we, the French, don't depend on anyone! And the biggest mistake the Germans made, they destroyed their nuclear energy sector.

First and foremost, please don't compare Germans (even by using German words), and by that I mean every German individual, to Russia/Russians. Germans are the unique nation, to whom we owe so much! Look at their numerous inventions and achievements. Look at their quality and style of life, they are neat, educated, polite, super good looking people. The better half of what we use every day is only thanks to them! See where I'm going? Second, I don't trust anything that any Russian says, as it can be their agent simply spreading disinfo. I had graduated from the military academy, which taught me good. Don't let anyone fool yourself, too. Take care.

I have a hunch, CastXP is faster in benchmarks. Gut feeling tells me, also the startup measurements. Why? When I start Cats, it loads almost immediately. Supermium is chewing my HDD for quite some time! Most of you won't notice because you all run off of SSD,

Agree on this one, and I suggest @Klemperto try on another computer (not only card!). Better not use yours, to avoid the possible damage. Who knows the reason!? -

Usually they dim when old, or become orange/yellowish.

But then again, not worth if it's very old, better find the same model on the used market. As it could be costly to buy the good caps.

A very unfortunate event indeed! If you already checked it with another PC (not only the card), then I'd start with more in-depth testings, like replacing the caps and measuring their capacity/ripples.

I dunno, I just checked, and they write: "x64 still affected by VirtualAlloc (HUGE MEMORY) serious bug. Run x64 if you have 8 Gb or above RAM."

From a quick look, the main problem is dwrite.dll. Dependencies could be subbed, but's in not all.

Why? Last time I heard, you never used 8, and for 10 they aren't needed at all. Just an unnecessary security risk.

Did you attempt to update the BIOS from a flash drive from the still working ports? I's suggest to try ALL versions of BIOS. Get back to us, then.
