  1. Well, thanks for telling us! Probably, the deleted MSFN account was fake, also? And MSFN staff had some hard grounds for deletion.
  2. Yep, probably you knew it. But what's interesting, the author kept his promise and V2 is still supported, even past the 127 limit, in the current v.131. It's almost in line with the current Chromium 133.0.6863.0.
  3. PMed,
  4. I guess because it's only Vista+. Still interested?
  5. Dave, thanks for reminding. There's a Chinese fork which solved all of the problems, including the bloody V3/V2. Found by @Saxon. I still hope @win32 will take it into consideration.
  6. Welcome, A year old browser might not hold out for long, sorry to be the downer. And we need new ideas on how to hold onto V2. Seeing Supermium stuck at 126, more than 7 major versions behind , I kinda suspect that the manifest could be the reason.
  7. But it only affects those on 127+, so I'm planning to stick with 125 for some time.
  8. People write it will turn itself off, like we assumed with you before. https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues/discussions/2977
  9. Who on MSFN uses the webstore? Just get 'em here. https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases
  10. @j7n also asked when was the brightness start to kick in, take this last normal release, compare to the one from the topic or newer. https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/releases/tag/1.8.6 In all, the creator goes blind, which I guess is normal for older people. Natural ageing process.
  11. Nvidia drivers are strictly close source, no docs to be found to even start a work here.
  12. Yeah, but if neither works for @Sampei.Nihira, try another forum, maybe? A forum with more generic content.
  13. Good! You're finally catching up, and I forgive you for your past actions! But @Tripredacus already told, don't divide members into "clubs", factions, teams.
  14. Before you make a topic, perform a research, see if it's really worth to post on MSFN, MSFN content ought to be interesting, no copy-paste, no generic crap. Also, make sure the info you post is up to these years, in other words - it must be fresh. Still have doubts? Ask @D.Draker what to post or not to post.
  15. Change the manner of your speak, start to be polite and friendly, quit "teaching" people, quit with your usual hostility. Don't argue with members, especially when they already got you the right sources pointing to the facts. On the positive side, you already started to change towards good by admitting your opinion is erroneous.
  16. You'd need a GTX1060 or similar.
  17. I don't know what happened, I dunno whose fault it is, but the picture quality simply went down. LAV filters could be the reason.
  18. --ignore-certificate-errors will bypass all of the cert errors for you on XP. But it's a security risk.
  19. --no-first-run --no-default-browser-check --disable-breakpad Start with those, then add the new ones until you're satisfied. Don't make a huge list though.
  20. I think people already mentioned a good set of flags in this topic that worked best for them, each user would have its own. It depends whether you use google services or not like gmail, etc.
  21. User allowed settings suck, they can be reset, ignored, etc. Policies also suck. they're for goofs, you're better off with CMD flags applied at the start, This is what I call "hardening".
  22. If you saw this post, you'd give up hopes of waiting, despite the authors trying to catch up, and I give them a huge respect, they simply can't... And without these modern ciphers, you're locked out of many cloudflare (and other) sites. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186176-x25519mlkem768-post-quantum-secure-key/?do=findComment&comment=1274931
  23. You may be right, it was something similar when they moved to V2 manifest, but you may be too young to remember. If I'm not mistaken, Chrome simply disabled "old" extensions one "wonderful" morning.
  24. This actually leads to more and more questions.
