@win32, does this extended kernel work with Server 2008 also as I want to know that before testing it myself in a VM. If it does, I could test some applications on Server 2008 and help you. (My question might be silly, but please answer)

Telegram does not open(I tested the portable version). It asks for GetTouchInputInfo in user32.dll. It must be 32bit (I've not yet checked). Tested on a Vista Home Premium x64 VM full updated till Jan. 2020

Yeah, and windows default sounds are also like pleasant music to our ears. Today's windows 8.x and 10 sounds are not great, especially the Windows 10 ones that reflect the bland look of the default ui. And in 8.x, the Vista style sounds were still there to replace the default ones but in Win10, they were gone!

Are there many users who run Vista x86? I know only @VistaLover and @Vistapocalypse who run it even now. If any Vista x86 users see this post, please tell me why you use 32 bit Vista. Just curious.

You mean you don't have to even copy over the extended kernel dll's into system32 via Windows Setup cmd? If yes, then that's great! I'll use local redirection and have fun with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox etc. on Vista! Merging the DLLredirectionenabler.reg key into Windows Registry?

How can that be? I had installed Vista Home premium x64 on a vm just for extended kernel testing purposes and server 2008 updates did not break the October version of extended kernel in any way. So I went ahead and installed all server 2008 updates on my physical Vista machine. I am guessing the Nov. 2020 build is not very much different from last month's build, am I correct @win32?

I ran the setup CMD scripts in both folders but my Vista install broke ( I already had DLLs from October installed). The system does not reach the orb startup animation and reboots endlessly. I don't have USB or DVD installation media ( I have windows 8.1 on the only unused usb in the house) and I don't want to download a big 4 GB iso and reinstall vista. How to solve the problem? Can I go to startup repair without using installation media and fix this from there? (System restore is not an option as I am on an SSD) Please note: I ran the setup cmd's as admin and also I have updated my Vista till Jan. 2020

Ok, so I used SP1 on my secondary Pentium D desktop and stuff is...... just a little bit faster than it was with SP2. I could sacrifice that little speed for all the updates till Jan. 2020 and extended kernel (I honestly don't know the local redirection method and if I try it, stuff might break, I have always been breaking stuff on the desktop, which made me reinstall Vista too often). No offence intended though.

Maybe edge scores more because telemetry is enabled. @win32 said that html5test awards points for geolocation and telemetry being enabled.
