My Browser Builds (Part 5)
nicolaasjan replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
FYI; From the Pale Moon forum: Planned system requirements changes this year -
Good catch. Same here: But PrivaZer removed them (CCleaner didn't).

Same here on the latest New Moon. Well, at least the scrollbar at the very bottom works to display the rest of the code. But I hope for you all that this can be fixed. In the meantime, click on the 'Raw' button and there will be no scrollbar. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ntvmb/wxp-installer-for-winpe/main/INSTALL.BAT -
Another milestone release for yt-dlp (2024.03.10). Windows XP mod : https://github.com/nicolaasjan/yt-dlp/releases/latest/download/yt-dlp_x86_Windows-XP.zip

Btw, have you seen that the update is also announced in the Pale Moon forum thread?

Thanks! I had that list enabled in the distant past, but it is indeed very restrictive and will cause false positives. (see e.g. this old issue in the uMatrix repo) It currently has 161.498 entries! I don't think that's beneficial, especially on older hardware... Also, the maintainer is known to block domains based on his personal opinion (mostly in his additional lists)...

On the MDL forum I see that MPC-HC 2.1.5 is out, but I don't see a working link anywhere (yes; I'm logged in)... https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/some-of-my-latest-apps-done-for-xp.87973/page-2#post-1825868 [Edit] I see now that @Maroc has edited all his posts with links to his programs, so that what are supposed to be links are now just plain text... This happened on Wednesday, between 19:38 and 19:45. My Browser Builds (Part 5)

Does that also include security fixes? To be honest, I don't read the changelogs here that often. -

I have the same issue and asked about it on GitHub, because I couldn't change the fonts: https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/261

My Browser Builds (Part 5)

<Offtopic> I would say, try in a fresh test profile. But I think it doesn't support that syntax. Copilot: The URL for the "AdGuard URL Tracking Protection" list is: https://filters.adtidy.org/extension/ublock/filters/17.txt That said, why don't you try uBO? It's far superior to Adblock Plus. </Offtopic> -

uBO (web extension version) can strip these parameters. After updating New Moon today, the Privacy tab in Options was empty.: I had to update my custom Dutch language pack again... Now it works : Here is a link to my updated Language Pack: Link.

Well, the extension doesn't work on YouTube. This site doesn't even load properly on IceApe-UXP... Maybe @adata can give us an example of a site on with it should work? [Edit] I found a video on a Polish site that I was able to download.

OK, I've hacked together a modified extension that will (maybe) work for @adata (haven't tested it) Link

Maybe if you somehow add the IceApe-UXP ID to the 'install.rdf' file inside the .xpi? em:id="{9184b6fe-4a5c-484d-8b4b-efbfccbfb514}" The 'install.rdf' file of the extension does however have a weird syntax... Maybe @AstroSkipper can help you with it.

Ah, sorry, I forgot to thank you al the effort you've put into this. About the colours, both browsers are on the same PC and monitor (Eizo) and the issue manifests itself on both real hardware (Pale Moon) and in a VM (New Moon). But I just realized that I was testing all this in a clean profile and after changing the font settings to use Noto Sans everywhere, the flags are now displayed as they should be.

Did that, but I still have this strange issue with the colours of the country flags (don't see it in your screenshot though). Firefox (colours are right): Pale Moon (colours are wrong):
