  1. Well, both in the Led Zeppelin video and in the special Ad Blocker Test Video. Screenshot of the second ad in the latter (Phantasialand ad): If you don't see ads in either of them, then it must be PEBCAK here. Though both videos are tested with default lists.
  2. Thanks! I still would like to know why 1.16.4.31b2 is successfully blocking YouTube ads and 1.16.4.31b2-1.54.0 is not, even with Legacy filters added to Custom. I tried in clean profiles, with only Quick fixes added to the former.
  3. Thanks! The filter lists seem to behave well, but I still get YouTube ads... (not happening with the old uBlock Origin Legacy 1.16.4.31b2) Also "AdGuard URL Tracking Protection" with its $removeparam syntax is useless for uBO Legacy (recognizes only 3, while there are 1382 a.t.m). [Edit] Maybe you could add "uBlock filters -- Legacy" as well. It still gets an occasional update. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/master/filters/legacy.txt
  4. Hmm... Didn't encounter that here. Btw, for these Malware filters you can also use these mirrors: https://curbengh.github.io/malware-filter/urlhaus-filter-ag-online.txt https://curbengh.github.io/phishing-filter/phishing-filter.txt
  5. Yes, the URL has to be changed. Known issue (old post, so some things may have changed) https://gitlab.com/malware-filter/urlhaus-filter#lite-version-online-links-only I have added the proper URL to "Custom". I use the Adguard one (see commit 402e2eb). https://malware-filter.gitlab.io/malware-filter/urlhaus-filter-ag-online.txt
  6. FYI: @Reino updated his FFmpeg version for XP. Download here.
  7. Thank you for looking into this! For now, I reverted back to uBlock0_1.16.4.31b2.firefox-legacy with "uBlock₀ filters – Quick fixes" added in "Custom". No ads any more. Btw, here is a special adblock test video. [Edit] I didn't see your comment above until now, because I replied to an older post. I noticed the %timestamp% as well, but didn't realize what it implied... [Edit2] I still have a very recent entry of 2 days ago in my "uBlock filters" list here: ! https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/21690 xhardhempus.net##+js(no-setTimeout-if.js, adblock)
  8. Yes, that's what I already guessed you meant. So, the self updating logic is already present in 1.16.4.31b2 ? It seems it hasn't it already done so in my case.
  9. Are you sure? That would be a bummer. Well, I can still view YT videos through MPV on Linux and "modern" Windows. VLC on XP has very crappy playback, at least in my VM. (offtopic) do you know if there is a version of MPC-HC that still works on XP (this fork works well on Windows 7)?
  10. That is certainly the case. E.g. "Quick fixes has now 168 rules in Firefox 121, but Pale Moon only recognizes 135 of them...
  11. I couldn't figure it out, but found an old xpi file in my collection (uBlock0_1.16.4.31b2.firefox-legacy.xpi), which updated filters without error and didn't show ads on that YT video. (you have to manually add the Quick fixes list to 'Custom") Maybe you can have a look inside it?
  12. @AstroSkipper Yes, Also tested with upstream Pale Moon on Linux in a pristine test profile. Still the same issues: Ads in the video Led Zeppelin - Kashmir (Live from Celebration Day) (Official Video). (highly recommended nostalgia ) No ads in your previous version.
  13. Something weird happened. "uBlock filters - Ads" doesn't want to update any more and YouTube in-video ads are not blocked now...
  14. Try this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/cname-trackers/master/data/combined_disguised_microsites.txt
  15. Thanks in advance! I'm looking forward to it. (be sure that you don't make the file name to long for Windows )
  16. Thanks! Note that: "AdGuard URL Tracking Protection" won't work. It uses a newer syntax ($removeparam), not supported by Legacy... "uBlock filters - Resource abuse" was moved to "Custom" ("Aangepast" in Dutch) because it is now redundant (used 0 out of 57). It is merged with "uBlock filters - Privacy" (see here). There seems to be some bug with "Annoyances"( "Storende elementen" in Dutch). Clicking on '+' does nothing...: Maybe some more tweaking is needed?
  17. FWIW, the site can't be opened in Firefox 121 either (for me at least). Only recent Chromium opens it, but "Show CSS" is empty as well. Style does not install.
  18. Thanks! So basically the same as @VistaLover achieved with his uBO "hack". However, since my default search when using Google goes via "Advanced Search", I'm afraid this script will not be useful in my case... As I stated in my previous post, there page 2 and onward lead to search results for "null" (obviously not what I'm looking for).
  19. It was in Google Advanced Search. The link to the next page when searching for e.g. "Jack Russell" became: https://www.google.com/search?q=null&tbs=&lr=&start=10 Regular Google Search is indeed OK. Can you share what you modified, please?
  20. I have the new interface in Google Search in my VM with NM28 because of a custom UA: general.useragent.override.google.com ---> Mozilla/5.0 (%OS_SLICE% rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0
  21. It persists here on Pale Moon. But I also protect some cookies with the extension CookieKeeper from the Classic Add-ons Archive. caa:addon/cookiekeeper
  22. Or the English version of this page: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/468360-return-pagination-to-google. [Edit] Found another one: https://gist.github.com/sp00n/e8b91d2f47c471bc0627f7b31d659291 (scrapped that ; it's buggy on Pale Moon with Greasemonkey)
  23. Concerning Mediamarkt, that is also discussed at the official Pale moon forum: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=30114&p=241764.
