  1. Well, the extension doesn't work on YouTube. This site doesn't even load properly on IceApe-UXP... Maybe @adata can give us an example of a site on with it should work? [Edit] I found a video on a Polish site that I was able to download.
  2. Maybe if you somehow add the IceApe-UXP ID to the 'install.rdf' file inside the .xpi? em:id="{9184b6fe-4a5c-484d-8b4b-efbfccbfb514}" The 'install.rdf' file of the extension does however have a weird syntax... Maybe @AstroSkipper can help you with it.
  3. Ah, sorry, I forgot to thank you al the effort you've put into this. About the colours, both browsers are on the same PC and monitor (Eizo) and the issue manifests itself on both real hardware (Pale Moon) and in a VM (New Moon). But I just realized that I was testing all this in a clean profile and after changing the font settings to use Noto Sans everywhere, the flags are now displayed as they should be.
  4. Did that, but I still have this strange issue with the colours of the country flags (don't see it in your screenshot though). Firefox (colours are right): Pale Moon (colours are wrong):
  5. Found it in a dark corner of the internet: https://legacyupdate.net/download-center/download/8483/windows-installer-4.5-redistributable
  6. Yes, I have tested with the dll (125KB) in System32 as well.
  7. OK, thanks. I see. Now I'm very curious what the real culprit might be. Maybe the author can find something in the dump files we sent him.
  8. Why such an unfriendly answer on this sunny Sunday morning?
  9. XP SP3 x86; PosReady updates until the end.
  10. Still no luck... Debug log: [0127/124608.954:ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(136)] TransactNamedPipe: The pipe has been ended. (0x6D) [0127/124610.456:ERROR:crashpad_client_win.cc(144)] crash server failed to launch, self-terminating
  11. It doesn't work here either on XP SP3 x86. Author has posted aan updated 'progwrp.dll' file (to be placed in System32), but that didn't solve the issue.
  12. Besides Spam404 (see here and here), MVPS HOSTS also has to be removed from uBlock0_1.16.4.31. See: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues/issues/2032 https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/commit/858fdaced3fbaf2d4c16aaa71cdab2b050e890b7
  13. Btw, I did already try to build it with Pyinstaller, using Python 3.9 XP build, but errors were thrown... You're right. This should belong in Who here has a Youtube-DL compile for WinXP?.
  14. I installed it, but I don't see the subfolders... Also. I think the ffmpeg.exe and ffprobe.exe should be replaced with current ones from Reino.
  15. To be honest, I haven't tried the program myself yet.
  16. If you want something GUI-like, you could also add yt-dlp to the browsers context menu with the extension "Open With" (available in the Classic Add-ons Archive).
  17. This one is not maintained any more... See here: https://old.reddit.com/r/youtubedl/wiki/info-guis Unfortunately, the fork thereof will not work on Windows XP (is 64bit)...
  18. Thanks! But I had to disable 2 lists and add them to Custom with updated URLs to match them with the ones currently used by upstream uBO. NLD: EasyList Dutch ---> EasyDutch https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EasyDutch-uBO/EasyDutch/main/EasyDutch.txt Online Malicious URL Blocklist ---> Online Malicious URL Blocklist (AdGuard) https://malware-filter.gitlab.io/malware-filter/urlhaus-filter-ag-online.txt https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/commit/402e2ebf57 https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/7636#issuecomment-1735168592
  19. Here, video (from YouTube) downloads the separate audio and video and does combine them to one file with the latest FFmpeg from @Reino, though my hardware can't handle the higher resolutions with VP9 codec. So, I always download mp4 1080p with avc codec (my screen isn't larger than that anyway).
