  1. Just to relieve you, I will make sure to test the next Serpent 55 build (once you release it) to see if it's fixed or not. Edit: @VistaLover beat me to it!
  2. Well, then as I confirmed for you, 3.7 is the last version to work, unfortunately.
  3. Thanks very much for the explanation, didn't know that. That's really a pity, though, but I am not surprised, consider that it's, as you described, Microsoft.
  4. I read that as "Cheetos" for a moment.
  5. And more importantly, thank Maroc himself (at My Digital Life forum) for the patched MPC-HC build for XP. Also, welcome back, IXOYE! Glad to see you talking again after approximately 8 months!
  6. OK, thanks, I edited the post and put the link to the comment instead of the comment's image link. This is the first time I hear about links expiring from GitHub's private-user-images subdomain, though.
  7. Yes, it's the last version.
  8. The first time loading that website, yes, it's sluggish, but next time after the first time, loading it isn't sluggish anymore.
  9. Yes, thanks, it was from that comment exactly. Re-updated the image link. Hopefully it won't break again.
  10. Well, at the moment, browsing with Chrome still works and doesn't throw any certificate errors, but yes, I see no reason to not update root and revoked certificates.
  11. Another image of Supermium running on XP, but this time, it's from win32. See this comment: https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/150#issuecomment-1881566029
  12. Hmm, I am not sure why I got quoted for this, I was only confirming @XPerceniol's report. Anyway, yes, I am aware that not every new Mypal version is major, but I just love testing them.
  13. It's not just you, I also have it. Very strange!
  14. Agreed + @Sampei.Nihira good to see you posting again in the General Discussion forum! Welcome back!
  15. Yes, I could revert to previous release, but I can wait.
  16. Lol, I have no computers from that year.
  17. Though, I still find it strange that I had to use Normal password authenication method (and not OAuth2) to successfully connect my Gmail account to MailNews, but it works nonetheless. And yes, since I am a fan of old software, I agree with @modnar: MailNews is for me and a very awesome piece of email client. I even customized it with the help of this amazing guide by @InterLinked: https://w2k.phreaknet.org/mail/ IceDove is really good too, but I use MailNews so often.
  18. Can confirm, it always displays like this: @roytam1
  19. Not to sound like I disrespect your opinion, but how?
  20. Awesome, I found both installer (.exe) and portable (.zip) versions of Youtube Downloader HD 3.7 for XP from its homepage www.youtubedownloaderxp.com (which is now inaccessible), archived in Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20230524195329/http://www.youtubedownloaderxp.com/files/youtube_downloader_xp.exe https://web.archive.org/web/20230524195526/http://www.youtubedownloaderxp.com/files/youtube_downloader_xp.zip Happy New Year to you too, @we3fan!
  21. Wikipedia is your friend. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streaming_SIMD_Extensions
  22. Oh my, thanks very much for this! Should have installed Classic Add-ons Archive, it really contains a lot of goodies there, and I installed "Classic Theme Restorer" extension from there as well, along with "Open With" extension.
  23. I got MailNews to connect my Gmail account! I had to enter my email address in the "User Name" textbox instead of my username, and I also changed the authentication method from "OAuth2" to "Normal password", but instead of entering my account's password, I created application-specific password and entered it. MailNews connected, and I received all mails normally! I found @Mathwiz's post in December 11, 2022, which helped me in this. I was also able to connect my Gmail account to IceDove-UXP, using the same way. @roytam1 I want to report a minor inconsistency with IceDove-UXP: it says in the About dialog box 20231110 instead of 20231223.
