Well Shenzhen , China might be a great place but for some unknown reason Indians are advised not to go to China for now. As an electronics hobbyist , I will say Shenzhen is heaven for me . Anyone before to Shenzhen, comment below. To be honest it is more like commercial city .Akihabara in Japan is a place for electronics otakus. All talks aside I searched mediatek in digikey and Mouser . No where it is available. I want to grab some documentation of Helio P22 but no luck either . I am working on a series (movie) to make people aware how they can start their own smartphone company. To be honest I am not interested personally . Most of the case you can make great phones but marketing is key to your success. Their is too much competition now from Chinese firms. Anyway how to get started ? I don't know much but a Taiwanese lady patched my msi z170 bios which switch back Intel usb 3.0 to usb 2.0. I can upload the bios if you wanna see.i hope it is still on my usb stick.

Bios above 5th gen Intel needs to be patched to support ACPI under XP . It is risky but certain cases Reactos ACPI driver can fix it . As for Intel usb 3.x , it too can be fixed by patching bios.

To be honest for same reason i have stopped extended xp devlopement. From next time I would request you to nag with my name rather mr.authoroframpatch or something like that

For unknown reasons , it failed to work on my laptop where XP works with csm enabled but it worked on my desktop. Reactos is adding UEFI to freeloader. I am looking forward to that which will surely work with hal patch.

You need vs2010,cmake and rosbe to build it.

No guarantee. Freeloader of Reactos will be modified to support UEFI but I don't know if that will work
