  1. I was wondering the same thing for AMD Radeon. We have the graphics driver working, but not the control panel for it. Also of note, if you have AMD Radeon mixed with anything Intel Haswell and newer, the AMD driver will not work unless the Intel graphics can be made to work as well.
  2. If you happen to have switchable Nvidia/AMD graphics, the following thread may be of help to you. Pair with this and hopefully you can get both working.
  3. Don't thank me, thank K4Sum1! He's the one who put in the hard work. I'm just sharing the drivers, lol. I am glad it worked for you. Also, if you happen to have switchable AMD/Nvidia graphics, the following thread may help you in getting the Nvidia graphics working.
  4. Same! I didn't create this Extended Kernel. That goes to Skulltrail192. Maybe it will work. XP uses XPDM instead of WDDM, so it may be difficult "translating" the required stuff over.
  5. Has anyone here tried this out? If so, did you get "The system cannot find the specified file" while installing this through Device Manager? The Cubis, who is on Discord, tried these and got that message. I set up a new Vista install on a separate hard drive and got the same message despite these having literally worked for me previously. K4Sum1, who created these, also got that same message on his machine as well. We all can't seem to figure out what would be causing this error to suddenly appear as I literally tested them on a 500GB SSD and they worked fine, but when tried after installing them onto a 4TB SSD, they don't. Basically, that message means the driver will work, but that it cannot find a file it needs, and these won't install until it finds said file, but everything needed appears to be there. There is also no (Code#) following that error either (E.G. (Code 10: This device cannot start), (Code 39: Windows cannot load the driver files for this device. It may be corrupted or missing), or (Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported errors)) Keep in mind, these require the Extended Kernel to be installed first. If someone here could figure out why Device Manager throws that error, even with Driver Signature Enforcement disabled, please do chime in below. We are all at a loss here as to how they worked, as seen here http://windowsenthusiasts1.epizy.com/ but now they suddenly do not despite no changes having been made to the files and the driver linked to above literally being the one that worked successfully on the 500GB SSD. EDIT: The Cubis problem is solved! Download and install these: https://www.mediafire.com/file/lxzpv2afvxzzy6h/AMD_Assorted_Drivers_Pack.zip/file These do not have Stoney Ridge at the moment as K4Sum1 needs to add them into it. Once he does, I'll fix the driverpack to include the non-Stoney Ridge drivers and the Stoney Ridge ones. I have included Stoney Ridge in them myself and can confirm that works. I'll work on getting everything uploaded and the links changed later on.
  6. I've hinted about it on here within the last week, and I can be proud to say the AMD Radeon Graphics driver for Windows Vista is finally available. There are also several other drivers that work with Vista that are usually bundled with hardware that features support for Windows 7 as well as the AMD Vista chipset drivers which still work with AMD Radeon's. To make this significantly easier for everyone, I included everything in a simple driver pack. Make sure Extended Kernel latest release is installed before installing graphics driver! You can get everything here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/lxzpv2afvxzzy6h/AMD_Assorted_Drivers_Pack.zip/file Most of these will also work with Windows XP x64 edition as well. The included ACPI.SY_ needs to be extracted with 7zip and integrated into an XP 64-bit media. The drivers that I could not get working under XP, despite their Vista success was: AMD IOMMU, PSP 2.0, and Realtek Card reader. The others like SMBus and USB 3.0 worked just fine. The graphics driver obviously does not work with XP, and trying to port it to XP's XDM (pre-WDDM) driver module may be hard to do. I hope these drivers are of use to people. Also, if your specific Radeon/chipset device is not in any of the INFs, a simple INF mod to add in references to it will suffice, after which you can install away. Also note, these are considered Beta drivers, but no problems, knock on wood, have been reported. Please also note I did not mod the Radeon Graphics driver. Credit goes to K4Sum1 for that. EDIT: There is a tutorial that shows you how to get AMD 17.10.1 working with Windows Vista. You can find it here: http://windowsenthusiasts1.epizy.com/AMD17101WindowsVista.html Inside there is also a link if you need support.
  7. Everything here, https://www.mediafire.com/file/urilg4ojvvfumpk/AMD_Assorted_Drivers_Pack.zip/file is compatible with the Extended Kernel. The Realtek, chipset, and touchpad drivers do not need it, but the Radeon graphics driver does. This is in Beta.
  8. This will be the last time I harp on this, but since this ties into the Extended Kernel, that's why I mention all this. Anywho, I created an AMD Driver pack that is compatible with AMD Radeon's such as R4 Stoney Ridge and Rx xxx (Rx 570, etc). This includes everything needed to run Vista (and even XP 64-bit) on Radeon hardware. To run all this (except for the Realtek, chipset and touchpad drivers), Extended Kernel must be installed. You can get all of this here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/lxzpv2afvxzzy6h/AMD_Assorted_Drivers_Pack.zip/file P.S. The graphics driver is in Beta. I'll open a new, separate thread for further discussion on this.
  9. No, but you can set up your account after installing. Just make it up in control panel, log off, and then sign in to it.
  10. Based on the screenshot, you have an AMD Radeon R9 200 series in conjunction with Intel, am I right, or is it something else? I was wondering if the AMD Radeon R4 Stoney Ridge could be made to work with Windows XP x64 bit edition. This is present in such computers like Acer Aspire A315-21. K4Sum1 got its graphics driver to work with Windows Vista (still in Beta) so I was hoping it could also be made to work with XP 64 bit edition. Here's the photo for proof as well as the specs for anybody interested in looking into this: http://windowsenthusiasts1.epizy.com/images/AMD2.JPG I do have the one-core api Extended Kernel set up on my 64-bit XP install on the A315-21. If you are unfamiliar with this, you can familiarize yourself here: https://github.com/Skulltrail192/One-Core-API-Binaries I also have the drivers for Elan Touchpad and Realtek Audio/Ethernet working oob. It also required Fernando's modded AMD SATA driver along with a modded ACPI.sys file integrated. Thanks in advanced to any interested parties.
  11. I forgot that Steam was 32-bit based. At least I also have 7 and 8.1 on my laptop to play it until it works with Vista and XP x64 (through one-core api)
  12. I just wanted to extend my thanks for the Extended Kernel! I like being able to run the latest Firefox now! Also, does Steam work with the latest kernel or are we still a ways off from that.
  13. AMD Radeon Stoney Ridge and related processors (as in all the ones listed in the Windows 7 graphics driver) now has a Vista compatible graphics driver, which means Windows Vista will work, even on AMD's bought in 2019 provided they are based on Stoney Ridge or related processors. It does require Extended Kernel, but unfortunately, it is not quite ready for release yet, and I'm just Beta testing it. The developer is hoping to release it real soon, so please watch here for when it is released. You can see the driver in action here: http://windowsenthusiasts1.epizy.com/images/AMD2.JPG

  15. We also have a working Vista driver for AMD Radeon's such as Stoney Ridge. The driver is not yet ready for release, however, as I am just Beta testing it for the person who developed it. You can see it in action here: http://windowsenthusiasts1.epizy.com/images/AMD2.JPG
  16. A huge development has happened in regards to getting Vista to work with newer AMD cards. For discussion on this and to see what has happened since last night, please take to the thread linked below. Thank you! P.S. When this releases, Extended Kernel will need to be installed first.
  17. BREAKING NEWS; A huge development has been reported! This just broke the Vista compatibility vault wide-opened! Unfortunately, it will be a bit before this is available to everybody. To learn more, go here: https://imgur.com/gallery/nGsYopn
  18. Some exciting developments have happened in regards to getting newer AMD Radeon cards working with Vista under this kernel. Please watch the thread below for updates as they trickle in.
  19. BREAKING NEWS: We may be one step closer to getting newer AMD Radeon graphics drivers such as for Stoney Ridge working with Windows Vista under Extended Kernel. Please stay tuned for more information on this as it comes in.
  20. Luckily, I do have an older Vista laptop (paired together with XP, 7, and 8.1) that I'm posting from right now. I just find it weird that the AMD Graphics drivers still keep in a blank section for a Windows version it does not support (the one I use has an NT6.0.amd64 section at the very bottom, but it is empty).
  21. Any updates on getting newer graphics driver working, especially AMD Radeon/Ryzen, working? I happen to have an AMD Radeon Stoney Ridge, so I can test graphics for that. I also have a thread about this if you want to move the discussion over there.
  22. From what I Googled, this appears to be related to error dialogs or similar.
  23. Looks like Firefox 105 doew not work. It installs, but opening it causes it to complain about WerUnregisterRuntimeExceptionModule not being located in KERNEL32.dll. This is on July 2022 update. I'm finally in! I had to scour around for a Firefox older than 105. I went with Firefox 101, which installs and opens as intended with no issues. Idk what version of Firefox was the first to introduce needing WerUnregisterRuntimeExceptionModule in Kernel32.dll, but I know Firefox 105 has it while Firerfox 101 does not. So for now, no Firefox 105 until @win32 can figure something out.
  24. I would love to see more modern drivers for later Windows ported to 2000, but I'm not getting my hopes up. The one, modern, system I bought specifically for 2k use has to use Standard Mode due to the stupid InsydeH2O BIOS and this means most drivers outside of Realtek audio (the main reason) will not work. (since this is off-topic, please contribute further at the link below if you'd like). Windows 2000 discussion aside, I'm hoping one day the AMD Radeon R4 98E4, Stoney Ridge graphics driver will work with Vista in addition to 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 along with several others like the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 among others (If you have Realtek audio, non-advanced mode (I2C/Serial I/O) Synaptics/Elantech and probably ALPS touchpads, and Realtek Ethernet, you are good as those still support Vista without any kernel mods provided by this or other mods. Rather than derail this thread, if you want to continue talk about AMD Graphics drivers, we can move the discussion to the other thread linked below, which does not have to pertain to just my model of AMD.
  25. Unfortunately, the adapter was put back into the laptop I am using to type this. I am, however, interested in trying to get Windows 2000 and your modded ACPI (which works on my Ivy Bridge and Haswell Dell's) to work with my Acer Aspire E1-531. @AnX himself has said multiple times (including in the following thread) that Windows 2000 will not activate ACPI with an InsydeH2O BIOS, modded ACPI or not. When I run an updated to 2010 2k ISO with your modded SATA and ACPI added in, it freezes at "Setup is starting Windows 2000". I hit F5 to activate Standard PC mode and installation goes fine, but no drivers work, not even USB, even after doing the fix. I only got VESA driver to work. I would greatly appreciate it if you or someone else could help me solve this. I did post a thread here, but no one has acknowledged it yet, leaving me not hopeful for any solutions to this longstanding problem plaguing people with InsydeH2O BIOS. Someone did mention Serial port settings could be the issue, but my BIOS has no such option due to lack of said port and I can't seem to find a modded BIOS with the Advanced options (including Serial Port) enabled.
