Hmm. Looks like usual MUI problem on the English version of Windows XP SP3 after updating xpsp2res.dll It can be easily fixed. Open registry editor regedit.exe then navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MUILanguages\FileVersions\XXXX\xpsp2res.dll] (where XXXX - Lithuanian language code). You should change all REG_DWORD:00000000 values here to REG_DWORD:00000001 (Just be careful and do not rush!). Then close registry editor and restart your system.

@glnz This is normal behavior, for, as already noted here So You only need and offered single and latest revision of this update. No. Just install all that is offered and that's it. You possibly need to manually install only one office 2007 compatibility pack update if it isn't offered automatically (Windows 7 computer with Office 2003 and Office 2007 compatibility pack for example).

@someguy25 It is a well-known problem with KB4074852, KB4134651 and KB4134651-v2 updates. You have to hide those updates or ask @heinoganda for patched (working) KB4134651-v2 update via PM.

@sdfox7 First site (bitmovin.com/demos/drm) plays under Firefox 52.9.0 ESR but says "Detected Firefox, using No-DRM" (despite of Primetime presence). DRM streams from second site (demo.castlabs.com) doesn't play in neither Chrome 49.0.2623.112 (with Widevine) nor Firefox 52.9.0 (with Primetime). Unencrypted streams all plays fine, of course, like on the screenshot in Your message. So it indeed looks like old Widevine/Primetime versions from Chrome 49.0/Firefox 52.9 are banned and not working with DRM content anymore...

If I remembered correctly You can double click on yellow shield tray icon then remove checkmark from this update and confirm Your choice by pressing 'Yes' in response to a request that unselected updates will not be installed.

@Dave-H It seems that KB4457046 is a critical security update for .NET Framework 4 Extended only. If You have only .NET Framework 4 Client Profile installed on Your system then this update is not required for You and this is a Microsoft Update error if it appears again and again.

Widevine CDM (in Firefox, of course) will not work on Windows XP. It requires Windows 7 and up.

It is worth mentioning that August 2018 (and later) updates requires CPU with SSE2. If You still use the system with Intel Pentium III Tualatin or AMD Athlon XP then do not install updates from August 2018 and later. Stay with July 2018 and earlier updates because these are known to be latest working updates for CPU without SSE2 support.
