on my dads comp hes been using firefox for a few months and today when he tried to open it up it would do nothing, nothing at all pops up, not even an error. i checked in task manager and each time he tried to open firefox the a new process would start for it so he had like 6 processes for it in task manager. i booted the comp into safe mode and firefox loaded up fine, ive also reinstalled it but still no luck.

i am looking for a list of commands that can be typed into "Run" to open files such as the task manager, desktop properties, anything like that i know ive seen a list before but cannot find it

this program works good, u could also get Resource Tuner and extract whatever size image u want from the file

is office 2003 on the network or on the laptop? the only reason the icons wouldnt work is if office 2003 was not installed on the laptop but if it is installed then then can the user just go the install directory of office 2003 and open it from there? and have u tried turning of active desktop to see if it works?

i just did a clean install of xp and lost my winamp skin(stupid me), and i loved the skin it looks like the modern skin except that it is black, ive been looking through multiple sites for it with no luck, can any1 help by giving sites or does any1 have a similar skin?

256 is what i had before, but a 512 in and now have 736 and i just defragged with no page file and now am setting to 500

is that just what the error would say? i used to get "page file low" or something like that with 256mb of ram

i dont have and unalocated space left anymore, ill just leave it how it is, thx for ur help and by the way i used 12gb for c: drive and 25gb was left over so i made that my e: drive(d: was already taken by the cd drive)

i was wondering about paging files and couldnt find much on google about setting it to something besides 1.5 or 150% of ur physical ram. i have 768mb of ram and was wondering what i should set it to and will it even make a performance difference? the paging file is on the same drive as my windows install

well i just reformated part2 and its fine now but 65.9mb's are used on it but there is nothing in it no hidden files either

it wouldnt let me do that for some reson tho i got a part1 and part2 but for some reason there was another gig left of unused space so i combined it into part2 and now there is a folder in part2 that i can open,delete,hide, or do anything to

i just parted it into 2 parts, a 12 and a 25(my hdd is ~38) now when i did this for some reason there was an extra gig left and i told the 2nd part to use take up the rest of the disk, then i tried to combine the 2nd and 3rd part and it worked, but the 3rd part created a folder in my 2nd part and i cannot access the folde(access is denied)

why a fat part? and norton ghost wont let me make it that small, min of ~4

nvm, i got it, i had to change the size of my c: drive to whatever i wanted it to be, then with the space left over i just made a new part

now how do i actually do it, im have partition magic and the turoral video said to split my c: drive but it is grayed off
