i would not doubt at all the google will be making an OS, it would be so sweet too, then watch them make it free and better than vista, then gates will be rly p***ed off

i was just wondering, why do people get such big hard drives? anything over 40 gigs sounds like an overkill to me. the only reasons i can think of having a big hard drives is if u download alot of crap like movies/music, use virtual drives/cds, video editing, and programming. i only use like 15 gigs of my hdd out of 40. 1.how big is ur hdd? 2.how much of it do u actually use? 3.what do u use it for?

could u be any less specific, lol,jk but can u post links to these or dell is like what core cpu and socket, who makes the ram and cas latency, who makes hdd, what mobo u getting, if ur gunna build a comp or buy one then tell us about every part, and this is not a gaming comp

some icons may not change b/c of some crappy xp update, so just click on the installation file for LTP and there is an option to reinstall the icons

just did a clean install last about 5 days ago, but like i said b4 its only slow when i start up the comp, the boot screen only goes through around 5 bars. and if i log off and log back on then it only takes a few secs and its set. i dont fell comfortable opening my laptop, especially since i dont even know how to so maybe with my compressed air can that ill be getting tomorrow ill spray it for like 5 sec then use a vaccumm for 10 sec, and do this on and off

so this pack is compatible with all ati mobility radeon cards? and was catalyst is it based off of? 5.7? and is this pack in any way better than the omega drivers?

i had the same problem trying to install it to, just use the omega driver for it

i prolly should get some compressed air, ive never cleaned it,but compressed air wont get rid of the dust for a laptop, it will just move it around b/c the dust has no where to go

all i have booting up is norton and MS antispyware

like i said i dont have a prefetch folder, its not there but i just treid logging off and then back on, fast user switching is disabled, and it loaded up in ~3sec, so maybe everything is good but it just does a total startup rly slow for some reason

how? and like i said i cant even find the prefetch folder

its not the comp, it is an hp pav ze4125 laptop, almost 3 yrs old it has loaded vry fast before but now i have no clue why its going so slow

512's are around 50$ on newegg http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCateg...SubCategory=381 my laptop has the 1600 xp-m in it with 768 ram, adding the 512 for me was a huge difference

that cpu should handle around 90, i have an xp-m 1600 and it runs at 85C when i play games and the ram will not have an effect on how hot the cpu is, go for anothe 512 big time

ive done bootvis and for the prefetch, i dont even have a folder for it

the 2nd part is just storage, i did all of my security checkups yesterday and my drivers are all up to date

im 99.9% sure that pro and corp are the same exact thing, the only reason for corp is so that u can install it on a crap load of systems without having to activate every single one, which saves u alot of time if ur doing hundreds of comps

i have 768 ram and my hdd is partitioned with a 15 gig part with my OS on it, that part is totally defragged but would the other part matter?

vector icons? can u tell us what they are? the only time ive heard of vector was for geometry.
