they arnt alot better but they are better, it depends on how much u can sell it for,the good mobos are all pci-e so i would try to sell it if i were u also all the new cards will be going the pci-e route

reformatting will make it go faster, have u defragged ur drive? b/c when u reinstall the os and all those apps there will be a crap load of fragmentation -
dont go for the barebones, usually rip u off pick out ur parts seperatly, if u need more help then go to the hardware forum

that is just the website for the card, saying that it comes in agp or pci-e, with ur board get pci-e
