there is no such thing as dual channel memory. your motherboard may be able to run in dual channel but there is nothing special about the memory that makes it dual channel. you are correct about your motherboard not supporting dual channel and thats b/c its socket 754. that memory will work but it will not be in dual channel.

so my dad is trying to play a bruce springsteen concert on his computer, and no volume... so i go in and first thing i do is to check the volume control to make sure that the volume is on, all is fine except for a new column called "auxiliary" which was muted, i unmuted it and the volume is now fine but is controlled by the auxiliary volume. has anyone ever heard of this auxiliary before? i am just wondering why this has happened. which version of nlite did u use? rc1 works fine and thats what u should use, that unless nlite has been updated to work better for x64.

xp will run just fine on a pIII, you obviously cant play any game made in the last 5 years but it will still work fine.
