  1. so it doesnt work i hope ur cpu is not dead... http://www.epox.com.tw/eng/download.php?t=...Gx1Y0dFMk1UQXpD that is the latest bios but i have no clue how ur going to install it, like said above, u need another cpu
  2. You could buy a SCART adapter, it would be more efficient. for 10$ i think my setup works just fine
  3. YEA! finally figured it out!
  4. this mobo doesnt have the extra 4pins and that start button on the mobo, it could be in the bottom left of this pic, there are 2 of them, retstart and start http://www.mustardseed.co.jp/epox/image/bi...ep9npaultra.jpg
  5. lol, that would suck. there may also be a power button on the mobo itself.
  6. benchmarks is the only thing to really prove that things are faster, unless u wanted to sit there with a stopwatch.
  7. well i see that you are proving yourself. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread...ght=raid+stripe this is that thread i was talking about. you will see many benchmarks in here. now until u can prove your side of the arguement, stop badmouthing people. btw, read point 2 in the 1st post
  8. take a look at the dfi forums, they have a quite extensive post on raid0 and many other posts the 4:1 ratio is just stripe:cluster say u want a 64 stripe, then you should have a 16 cluster
  9. why does it have to be equal? most people dont set them equal. the defualt ntfs cluster size is 4kb and most people just leave that alone. u could also try 64/16 . a 4:1 ratio for stripe:cluster has proven to be the bests performers.
  10. sell if for the same price then, or a few bucks more
  11. i dont think its worth selling it, you wont get much for it since it is pretty old and outdated.
  12. 16 stripe. 4 cluster
  13. well im not exactly sure how hot they are suppose to be, but they can let out an anoying sound if they are broken or dying.
  14. WOW. not again! you have some epox nf4 mobo, right? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...-123-236&depa=1 this one except that u got it from mwave? the board is supposed to work great and very stable, it just may be that mwave sucks i would suggest asking mwave if u could just return it and say that u dont want another one, then either buy it from newegg or get another mobo instead such as dfi, msi, asus.
  15. what heatsink is it? that is very strange, could it be a capacitor next to the socket, do any capacitors look like they have fried, oozed something, or are bloated?
  16. for ramdrives http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2480&p=1 this shows how much faster a ramdrive is than a raptor, you can google for more info
  17. i wonder what the prices will be. cheapest being 200$ and ultimate being 1000$ ....
  18. could u take a pic of it for us?
  19. get that hdd! one of the best out for the price, 16mb is the big plus on it and sataII makes it even better.
  20. they are supposed to be good, i dont know from personal experience tho, i have a cd-rw of their and its great. i recommend the nec 3550 .
  21. that drive can read dvd-ram so i dont see why it wont?
  22. ill just leave it alone, thx
  23. or even easier, when u boot up windows, does it say x64 edition ?
  24. she turned it on! she should have let it dry for a day or two, or put a blow dryer on it. oh well, i hope that it dries out when you get back, good luck
