  1. I need to know any reasons why the DVI output may not work on my video card. For a few months now, I thought my monitor was the problem. But then I found out my friends laptop has a DVI output. After connecting it to this laptop, my monitor was able to pick up the signal and worked just fine, so now I know the problem is my video card and not the monitor. It's really weird - In Windows, it can detect when a monitor is connected through the DVI, it can even detect the kind of monitor it is (Viewsonic VX922), but the monitor just isn't able to pick up a signal. The video card isn't listed on Newegg anymore, but the exact title of the product was: eVGA 128-A8-N350 Geforce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card And this is the monitor: ViewSonic VX922 Black/Silver 19" 2ms LCD Monitor
  2. TigoTago 1.0 is a tag editor which supports MP3, AVI, WAV, WMA, WMV, and ASF, and supports the FreeDB and Discogs online databases. The tag editor is setup like an Excel spreadsheet, which makes editing tags highly efficient. Changes: - open plugin system - new settings style with saving custom profiles - support for .wma files uncompatible with specification - multilingual user interface with an easy translation tool included - many small bugs fixed Announcement Download Page This is by far my favorite tag editor, it's just missing support for more formats. 1.0 has the open plugin system, which means anyone who knows how to can add support for a certain format to TigoTago. So I ask everyone here, if you like TigoTago, then spread the word! Help TigoTago get the support it needs
  3. To those who recommended alternative clients: Thanks anyways, but I've found that the official clients always work much better. I found AIM AdHack lite, which worked perfect. TBH, the ads in AIM didn't bother me... until it started playing video ads O_o Then I decided the ads had to go. So thanks a lot for the recommendations.
  4. Does anyone know of any good freeware patches for AIM? I'm looking for something similar to DeadAIM, or A-Patch for MSN Messenger. Thanks
  5. I have the Linksys WRT54G v5 wireless router at the moment... Earlier today, I tried browsing the web for the internet to be going extremely slow. I realized my brother was downloading in bittorrent, and had nearly 1000 connections open. It usually doesn't take any more than 100 connections to make the internet slow. I can assure you it's the router though. Afterwards, my brother connected his laptop directly to the cable modem. After a while, he had just as many connections and was downloading FASTER, but he could browse the web at nearly full speed. I only purchased the WRT54G because it seemed to have a great reputation online. Only after I bought it though is when I realized everyone liked the older versions of the router. The WRT54G v5 has half the RAM / ROM, different hardware, and some VmWorks firmware instead of previously Linux. Questions: 1- This goes to anyone who has the WRT54G v3 / WRT54GL routers: If you have a lot of connections open, can you still do other things on the internet at a decent speed? 2- Excluding the WRT54G / WRT54GL routers, are there any other routers which can handle the bittorrent downloads? (If it takes an expensive router, like $300+, please just say so)
