ya i just noticed that too. almost all boards have the dual channell setup for slot (1+3) or (2+4) but occasionaly you find boards where its (1+2) and (3+4). just some stupid crap.

well dont you think a hdd would smoke if it had no cooling at all and reached 100C?

well first off update your bios. then download memtest86 and test out your memory for any errors.

its not animated. dynamic means it changes. in this case it is different for each user, the ip address or whatever in it will change for each user.

well i bought my stuff all at once since i was upgrading from a laptop... usually when ppl upgrade they will keep their peripherals and their hdd, sound card, maybe case. so i guess ur right if u already have that stuff and u want to keep it. a new mobo, cpu, ram, and vid card can still cost alot tho. those are the main components, so for pretty good stuff: mobo-150$ cpu-300$ ram-200$ vid-250$ = 800$ thats not top of the line, but that will get you a nice system, for 1000$ u can get a rly nice gfx card or a rly nice cpu.

i wish. but that would be kinda hard to do unless i spent alot on some nice water cooling and got alot of hdds.

i think mines was ~2100$ when i bought it. ive bought alot of cooling crap for it since which is prolly another 100$. and by the end of this year i plan on getting an auzentech x-purity and the logitech z5500 which will put me above 2500$.

how about pc 4000?

or wait for some nice dx10 cards
