  5. haha. i personally hate dmachines, they are even cheaper then dells! lol
  6. well what video card do you have exactly? model number? otherwise the specs will be find to play WoW. you could try that 10day free trial to see if you comp can play it or not before deciding to buy it... you may be able to add in a 7400 or 7600 into it, im not sure where to find that info, maybe you should give sony a call about it.
  7. well since you mentioned aim, trillian works just fine also, so does winrar
  8. sims 2 = working: seems to run smoother than xp
  9. well my 7800gt got a 5.9 also and we both know that your card is ALOT better than mine. so currenty the scoring must be limited to less than 6.
  10. um? why isnt it? so your telling me you would rather have 1000 infections than 1 infection?

  21. well by looking at my overall score too, my score== my lowest component score, which it even says that below my overall score
  22. i never used extensions when i used firefox b/c i never needed any of them. opera is just faster and safer imo.
  23. That's pretty much my opinion on that too: none of those "maintenance" apps. Getting rid of temp files by hand every now and then is quite simple and fast. Defrag every once in a while (I hardly ever bother). Virus/spyware scanning whenever you like (I've got nod32 resident, and I never bother doing scans for viruses or spyware as I haven't caught any in a VERY, VERY long time - no spyware since I ditched IE, and no viruses in years). As for the other apps, I wouldn't want those on my system. Most registry "fixers" often do more harm than good and such, and with no real/noticeable improvement (unless your system's an absolute mess, in which case you might as well reinstall anyway). I see no need for apps like this... finally someone who think like me! but my experiment was to not install any type of protection out of my router's firewall. and i mean nothing at all, i ran no test at all. 6 months later i ran all of the normal test, nod32, adaware, spybot, defender. all that came up was 4 errors for something firefox related which i only use for testing websites i make so i know they work on all browsers, and just 1 spyware. so thats 1 spyware over 6 months with no protection, now i think thats pretty darn good!
  24. Vista does indeed calculate your CPU score based on all available physical and logical processors in your system. Hyperthreading helps, dual core helps more, quad core and beyond would help even further. So to answer your question: yes, that score does include your 2nd core. well thats just a shock to me... wtf do i need then! an x6800! oh i wish...
