Question: Why the hell isnt MSFN supporting you on this project? Last I checked, they were still hosting other peoples websites. You shoudn't have to pay for simple bandwidth with all the connections here.

True Alanoll, however, AutoIT is much more powerful. Either way, what he is looking for are simple switchs, which simply is not possible.

You are obviously very new. I dont know who is telling you that stuff like that is ruled out, but they are newbies too. Tell them I told them that. Because THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE. Reason being, the official and only silent way is /s, and it does exactly as intended.....you just dont intend to do the default options...One last time...There is no other choice. You must use AutoIT or Installrite.

Currently, there is a way to install it silently, but not activate it silently. My opinon is if you cant do everything in the app silently, theres no point in doing it silently at all. Goodluck.

Of course we all know theres a big difference between Adobe Reader and Acrobat, I assume you meant what you said by saying Acrobat in which case RyanVM's Switchless install of Adobe Reader is not what you are looking for.

Thanks for your informative reply Astlavista. My suggestion: Open up all the scripts and I often find help in the commented lines. (IE: Lines beggining with // are comments)

Humm.....That would be a crapload of registry entrys....I doubt you can catch every single one of them. I dont think Installrite has a limit....it just seems to crash because its soooo outdated. Bah Ill try and find some other ways to fill up my DVD if this isnt possible.

Logically when you said it was easy to google, I searched for World of Warcraft DVD (among many various other searches), thus that is what this whole topic exists. Im unsure if installers were not built exactly the same, and I dont plan to modify them without a guide directed at them.

how? You have to somhow tell it that instead of the CDRom to look for a folder for the next disk. I mean i thought this through too about doing that, but i just dont see how its possible.

I understand your logic about using AutoIT for WoW, but I dont want to have to swap discs (there is 4).

Hey Everyone, I was looking for an unattended way to install World of Warcraft. I have gone as far as doing an InstallRite of World of Warcraft....sadly, its over 2.4 GB and apparently, that is too unstable to for the outdated program. Any ideas? As for startup items, I was wondering where I can delete all my startup items (that arent in the startup start menu folder). I am speaking of the ones hidden and require you to go into the System Configuration Utility to disable them. Thanks!
