  1. Yes. It runs without problems after header patching. I'll write my researching later.
  2. Are you blind or deaf? I've said in the first post hell why it should work? Google.
  3. "If". RPLite5 does no longer provide kernel32.dll!
  4. RPLite 5 *should* work under WinME, although it is not tested not supported.
  5. It won't work under clean 98 because of some dependancies, however it may work with Kernel Update. So do you guys want me to try fixing MS06-15 for WinME?
  6. Well, i've quickly explored other vulnerabilities and can say: MS04-024 - probably can be fixed, but it is controversal; MS04-037 - can be fixed simply; MS05-008 - not sure if it can be fixed but it is better to not use IE; MS05-016 - not sure if it can be fixed but it is better to not use msHTA; MS05-024 - can be fixed for ME by using 2000 patch.
  7. Well, i've explored this, and found that it is not possible to use 2000' shell32.dll, but it is possible to make a patch for 98 and Me using same algorithms [unlike what M$ tells]. I could probably do it but i lack motivation.
  8. REVOLUTIONS PACK 4 IS BAD, you're right. REVOLUTIONS PACK LITE IS ONLY THING for such purpose for expirienced people. Next version will include powerful and reliable skin engine.
  9. Tatata! 2 updates released for RPLite V are NOT CRITICAL, NOT MAJOR and HIGHLY OPTIONAL. NUSB 2.3 mostly = NUSB 2.2 + NUSB Decorator. Relax.
  10. I use Win98 SE in VMWare. - My old installation boots very slow. Using Boot Log Analyzer, i've found crazy (40 sec) delay between last DOS driver and VMM32.VXD boot. - New installation didn't suffer from this issue (delay was 2 sec max, boot was 12 sec). - But after several hours installing different programs and updates, problem raised again (20 sec delay). - I've tried to defrag and clean up everything; no effect. - I've tried to remove my svga logo loader; no effect. - Then i've deleted smartdrv.exe. It is only file being loaded between DOS and VMM32.VXD. - It helped! Delay lowered down to 4 sec. - It helped for old installation too! So, the question: did anyone have expirienced such issue? Has anyone tried working without smartdrv.exe? I haven't noticed slowdowns without smartdrv.exe.
  11. Again Megaupload and again XP theme? Sux.
  12. Can't download coz MegaUpload sux.
  13. Use Revolutions Pack Lite.
  14. It is possible to compile mfc42u.dll for 9x, but it won't be useful unless application using it will be recompiled: http://blogs.msdn.com/michkap/articles/276122.aspx
  15. Try: rundll sysdm.cpl,DMREDETECT or rundll sysdm.cpl,DMRUNDETECTION
  16. One more resident s**ker?? They're surely lost 9x code.
  17. NO!! http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/Techni...71_9706,00.html AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor Cool'n'Quiet Software for Windows ME and Windows 2000
  18. There are commands in config.sys for building your own menu, Google MENUITEM.
  19. You need systray.exe!
  20. So, 27 downloads and noone said it doesn't work. Can I assume it is working propertly? It seemed to me or fonts are wrong? Can 7.5 features be used (...animations)?
  21. Well, current unimplemented APIs in 9x which won't allow Firefox 3 to run is GetGlyphIndicesA/W and UpdateLayeredWindow First API can be implemented using this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241020/EN-US/ Second API can be partially implemented for shaped non-translucent windows.
  22. Gimme plz link to ftp where that trunk resides. I'll try to make that version running.
  23. No. It has 200+ unimplemented APIs in use
